Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Alexindisguise was it Jed? don't know where the name came from in my poor sieve of a brain though! they were great little bracelets.

boozeMSbooze · 27/09/2018 13:59

Name changed as have posted some fairly identifying stuff under old username. Chester M&S have loads of reduced booze, they also have none M&S branded stuff too, mostly whisky. I don't know anything about it but some of the reductions were decent.

@vroc81
We use simply cook
They do gift options but as a trial is cheaper than normal it may be worth just signing up for a few months and upping boxes if you need more (top tip if you try to cancel and put too expensive they take a few quid off)
We get them every 6 weeks at £8 a box (4 meals) delivered and everything we’ve tried has been amazing - whole range of spicy levels

boozeMSbooze · 27/09/2018 14:00

Non, not none.

chillimice · 27/09/2018 14:04

@dangerousmouse it automatically came up with the offer, but INTRO gave me the same offer. I still had to pay postage though. My friend also gave me a code to get the first box for £5 which I didn’t use, PM me if you’d like it!

Dolphintrainer · 27/09/2018 14:18

@pinglepongle - thanks so much for the tip off on the great price for the scruff a luv. Could pick the colour too! Another thing ticked off my list!

Mrsfussypants1 · 27/09/2018 14:26

If anyone's interested in mini me matching sets, Peacocks have a lovely womens grey and rainbow onesie with matching childs dressing gown. Should've been £28 for both got set for £22.40 (free click and collect as I wasn't paying delivery ) but there's 20% off code online (VCSEPTEMBER20) and in store starts tmrw. Not somewhere I've ever bought pjs from before but I'd seen the set advertised and popped in store and they are lovely quality but didn't have size in I needed. Down side is 5-7 days wait for click and collect but I'm in no hurry.

@BinnesVacances I googled “amazon contact customer service” and clicked the link that came up for customer service. It gives you the option to call or online message/email. They have been great. You may need to be logged into you account as it took me back there when I clicked the link.. unless you can probably also do it from your account without googling! I’ve just got £55 worth of stuff for £40 . Chuffed!

NoHufflefucksGivenMugglefucker · 27/09/2018 15:51

@BonnesVacances

happsymum · 27/09/2018 15:54

Don’t know if this has been shared already but came up on my Facebook today. Despite Argos 3 for 2 deal - it’s still not cheaper in some cases....

25% cash back with topcashback and groupon.

Had anyone bought a fitness tracker from groupon? Looking for them for twins age 9.

Alanamackree · 27/09/2018 16:22

Oops! I didn't notice that minimum spend on L'Occitane. Thanks for catching that weebarra

perfume shop have a buy one get 20% off the second (cheaper) item.
Are there any other bargainous places to get perfume? I only need one item so this one isn't much good to me.

Re: Amazon £5 on £40 top up

I did the live chat with the customer service rep about it - I’m not eligible because I’ve topped up within the last 3 years (you have to be ‘new’ to vouchers apparently); I pointed out that it seemed unfair to penalise regular, loyal customers, so he agreed to credit my account with £5 as a one-time gesture of goodwill, saying it wouldn’t appear in the voucher/credit balance, but would be there next time I made a purchase.

Went to buy the shirt I wanted (only 2 left in stock!), and the credit wasn’t there. I’ve had to buy the shirt anyway as didn’t want to risk it going out of stock, but not overly impressed - going to have to get in touch again I think!

nickdrakeslovechild · 27/09/2018 16:58

Did I see somewhere that the barbie care clinic or doctors set was on offer somehwere? I cant find the post.

Ooh I managed to get a £5 credit from Amazon too Wink

MerryTwinkletoes · 27/09/2018 17:38

Forgot to say but simply cook is a rolling contract so you need to remember to cancel after your first box if you don't want to pay full price! Xx

FireflyGirl · 27/09/2018 17:45

Also re: SimplyCook, you have to log on to the site by a certain date and choose your options for the next month, otherwise they choose for you. I enjoyed the meals, but cancelled my subscription because I kept forgetting my login to choose my recipes and they kept sending me seafood ones, which we don't eat.

It's what I thought of as well, though, when someone asked up thread. I'd definitely recommend.

SimplyPut · 27/09/2018 17:47

I have finished shopping for all Nieces and Nephews plus DC3. Now for everyone else!

Catanddogmake6 · 27/09/2018 18:25

Just generally on the scruff a luv, I was really disappointed with the quality even within the realm of children’s tat. I bought at full price as Amazon was out of stock at the time. Its the kind of toy you would pick up at a fair - extremely cheap and nasty. However my six year old loves it which I guess is what matters. The Furreal polar bear tip was however a fantastic bargain and really pleased.
On another note - does anyone have the Emma Bridgewater code. I have searched but singularly failed to find it.

Rockhopper81 · 27/09/2018 18:38

Got the £5 Amazon credit - I spend £100s with them, so it’s only fair I benefit a little bit, right??

NoHufflefucksGivenMugglefucker · 27/09/2018 18:44

@rockhopper81 it only works for purchases on goods sold and fulfilled by amazon. That’s what happened to me. Moaning I couldn’t find it got me a second £5 voucher..

CheekyFucker · 27/09/2018 19:07

The leather bracelet fella no longer makes them. He went back to uni.

tentative3 · 27/09/2018 19:09

So is everyone just asking for the Amazon credit?
