Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Is 5 too old for playmobil? Have I missed the window of playmobil opportunity?

Regressionconfession · 11/09/2018 03:12

marypoppinspenguins 5 definitely isn't too old for playmobil. My 5 year old loves it and lots of posters on here talk about their much bigger kids still playing with it!!

Alanamackree · 11/09/2018 05:39

DS would love heelies but he has particularly narrow feet and most standard brands of reasonably priced shoes slip right off. Are all heelies very wide fitting?

PamelaEwing · 11/09/2018 06:28

Will Christmas ketchup be the next big trend? Xmas Grin

FireflyGirl · 11/09/2018 07:04

@hedgyhoggy the 2018 one dropped to £15.50 on Amazon at the weekend. Might be worth setting up a camelcamelcamel alert. They tend to go pretty quickly when they're on offer.

I dropped off the last thread, so not sure if it's been mentioned, but I also found Reese's advents in B&M for £4.99. Might be worth getting them now, as I seem to remember people struggling to get hold of them last year.

Also, whoever was looking for Thumper, they had these in Primark for £10. They are super soft and play a little tune.

Thanks for the Steven art deal. I’m thinking about it for my mum.

My son is going to be 7 in November and has asked for bunk beds. It’s a bit random but that’s what he wants so I’m looking for the cheapest way to buy it. If anyone has any recommendations.

Also he’s asked for the switch for Xmas if anyone knows any deals.

anotherangel2 · 11/09/2018 08:03

ReindeerPoop my b and m had a few scuttlebugs for £12.99

HoneyDragon · 11/09/2018 08:03

Hedgehoggy for as long as I can remember the Lego Calendar has been in the Argos 3 for 2.

I used to buy them with my friend on the offer as then they worked out about £15/£16 each.

NoWordForFluffy · 11/09/2018 08:31

@Onlyfools Groupon or Wowcher had a good bunk bed deal. DD wants them too, but I'm holding off until she's 6!

Singingitoverandoverandover · 11/09/2018 09:18

LutherRalph1 · 11/09/2018 09:28

Hi Christmas Lovers!

Does anybody know where I may be able to get some Lion soft toys, not big ones ( and hopefully as cheap as possible as I have a few to buy)

Thanks

Singingitoverandoverandover · 11/09/2018 10:23

luther Ikea have lions. Big and small. World of bear website has lovely ones if you filter price you will find cheaper ones. Failing that eBay and amazon will be your friend

WhirlwindHugs · 11/09/2018 10:37

We got our bunk beds from wayfair and they were reasonable (don't buy the cheap mattresses tho! We ended up with a refund for those because they were so uncomfortable!)

DillieDoily · 11/09/2018 11:10

Ivegotalovelybunchofcoconuts I would love your Boden code if it's still available

DillieDoily · 11/09/2018 11:17

Amazon have Pieface Sky High for £9.98 Pie Face

JurassicGirl · 11/09/2018 11:46

Just got a few bargains in Home Bargains!

Blue sofa tray - £2.99 It has legs underneath that unfold on springs so it grips the arm of the sofa (tried it on mine & it worked)

Intital mug - 99p

Initial notepad - 99p (both of the 'inital' items look much more expensive)

Peek a Boo TY - £1.59 It's a phone holder which DD (10 at Christmas) will love!

Nail decorations - 79p DD is just getting into painting her nails so perfect stocking filler.

Diamond shaped accessory hanger - £1.29 We're decorating DD's room so this may be given when decorating has finished or at Christmas (whichever comes first!!)

So pleased with my little haul especially the sofa tray as I'm sure my Dad will use it & he likes useful presents!

Matalan also had their Christmas stock & it looked amazing but was pushed for time today :(

VivaJen · 11/09/2018 11:46

If anyone is interested in the Country Living Christmas Fairs there is 2 for 1 offer with code 241XMAS.

JurassicGirl · 11/09/2018 11:48
