Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I’ve just ordered loads of toys in the entertainer sale online. Perfect for stashing for birthday parties but some might be useful for stockings etc. Paw patrol board game £3 etc.

lumpybumpylooloo · 09/09/2018 16:04

Not sure if this is of any use to anyone but I have a £10 Boden voucher I won’t be using. It needs to be used by 30/9/18 and there’s no minimum spend.

Toastyteacakes · 09/09/2018 16:08

Could I have the boden code please ?

lumpybumpylooloo · 09/09/2018 16:11

Of course, Toastyteacakes, I’ve PMd you the code.

My DD (nearly 5) has just discovered Fingerlings, we got a monkey today.. it is annoying! It keeps whistling and I think there is another adult doing it then realise it is the monkey! DD adores it...

I second this plate from Matalan. It really is much nicer than I expected.

Perfect size for a mince pie and a carrot. Seems good quality, each bauble is hand painted and raised.

It was £3 and is something we can bring out every year.

Sainsbury's near me had lots of young child toys reduced. Galt pop up was £5 from £8 and soft blocks which have been well used in our house. They also had a beatbo for less than half price. Picture shows some of what they had.

torthecatlady · 09/09/2018 17:36

Wilko has these Lego blox figures. 50 figures for £15 which seems very reasonable.

Also available online. Would have bought it today but ds was with us, so going to order it online instead!

(I've uploaded too many pictures today so I can't add any for this post.)

Boden have never sent me a £10 voucher. I get mad as I have shopped with them for years! Hmm

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 09/09/2018 17:47

I've just seen this site on HotUKDeals - some good prices on Hype items eg. some tshirts and sweatshirts for £4.95 in mens sizes but I'm guessing smaller sizes would be good for teens. A few backpacks for under £13 too.

MrsLem · 09/09/2018 17:58

I use the app freeprints Photobook and every month you can order a book and just pay the delivery. The first month you get a hard backed one for £5.99. 20 photos and you customise the book. Quality was great so I'm making one each month for add ins to presents- might be good for grandparents?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 09/09/2018 18:17

Do marks and Spencer’s ever have discount codes? I’m after smelliest for family but trying to get them cheaper as my maternity pay has now stopped

Smellybears · 09/09/2018 18:55

Also, I’m sure the body shop have 50% off codes every now and then or have I imagined this? I’ve been checking the vouchercloud and voucher codes apps but haven’t seen 50% off.

Smellybears · 09/09/2018 18:57

@MrsLem FreePrints do one free photo tile each month, you just pay for postage, might be something yourself or anyone else on here may be interested in. I’m going to do the same and order them over the next few months as Christmas presents for family Grin

SimplyPut · 09/09/2018 19:09

smellybears do you have a sparks card? They give 20% off from time to time plus a 20% off code two weeks before your birthday (your birthday is soon you say? Congratulations Wink)
