Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

M&S beauty box has been out 10th and 17th of November looking back in my previous orders

Jfw82 · 12/09/2018 09:34

British Gas rewards customers you can claim a £5.99 voucher to use in Sky Store canoe used either as full or part payment for rent or buy- not as good as some previous offers but it's free :)

Picked up my toys for a pound order today and I am super impressed with the quality. I got the groot plush from guardians of the galaxy as a stocking filler and it is massive! DD is going to be delighted with it.
Thanks to whoever recommended will defo be using them again!

DeanImpala67 · 12/09/2018 09:49

Ollie & Nic have an outlet store with large reductions on lovely bags and purses. Just got a great tan purse for DM reduced to £12.

Lego dimensions are £1.99 in Home bargains! They had a fair few different ones, Donald duck, Mulan etc.
They also had a cry baby for £19.99 which isn't too bad if missed out on the Asda one like I did!
Oh and also some heavily below rrp Luna Petunia toys, my DD loves it but that's the first time I've ever seen any related toys.

Brownieb · 12/09/2018 13:38

Any ideas what I can store away for work gifts for hubby to take for his coworkers? Mixed sex - as cheap as possible but substantial enough to be a proper gift- something like candles/sweets.... not got many ideas...

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 12/09/2018 13:53

Brownieb there are a lot of things around at the moment with initials on eg. cheap mugs and notebooks in Home Bargains that someone linked to earlier, I've also seen canvas tote shopper bags and candles with letters on in there too.

Jammiebammie · 12/09/2018 13:55

Thanks @Nowordforfluffy

Smiggle have quite a sale on, some 50% off and heyve got their 5 for £5 again which is fab for the present drawer for school friends birthdays here

GruffaloStick · 12/09/2018 13:58

I saw this earlier, crafty box along similar lines to Mr Maker. First box free (pay £2 postage) and you can cancel at any time.

signup.toucanbox.com/?code=free123

I can't vouch for the box or how easy it is to cancel as DC is a bit too young get but thought it might be useful to someone

margaritasbythesea · 12/09/2018 14:00

I found when I went to my Sparks offer on the M&S website that I could get access to sale preview prices too. I found it by accident when buying jeans for my daughter and had to google the sale preview. It included a lot of summer stuff but also some back packs and a fluffy unicorn onesie and pink spotted fluffy dressing gown at 30% off each. Good team up with the five pounds off mentioned upthread.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 12/09/2018 14:03

I’m on the hunt for some little Toy story figures, I was hoping they did a Busy Book with them but can’t find them.
I know the Disney Store used to do them but can’t see them online, I don’t want to buy from Aliexpress as they’re likely to end up in his mouth!

If anyone has seen them I’d be v appreciative!

Unihorn · 12/09/2018 14:05

Costco is really good for those sorts of sets @IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece if you have a membership or if there's anyone near you with one.

Jammiebammie · 12/09/2018 14:10

What about these toy story figures

here they look like the Disney store ones.

They definitely used to do a busy book, my dd has one, maybe they’ve been discontinued? I always found Asda, home bargains and WHSmith best for finding busy books.

Smyths have a set here coming in stock in the next few days too.

Alanamackree · 12/09/2018 14:12

Has anyone come across any Top Model bargains? They seem to be pre-priced and the same in all stores that I’ve checked.

Flyingtiger have yarn bowls back in stock. They’re a lovely gift for knitters and sold out very quickly last year. They’re €6.

Goldenphoenix · 12/09/2018 14:19

Am after a plain mens backpack for my husband, not for sports but as a changing/kids stuff bag. If anyone spots any decently priced nice ones please do post!

SimplyPut · 12/09/2018 15:14

Alanamakree top model bargains are rare. Dobbies sometimes have end of line deals around October and Easter.

AlwaysPottering · 12/09/2018 15:37

Alanamackree there are some bits on eBay, rubbers, pencils etcfor top model & a doggy too model book for £3

woodwaj · 12/09/2018 15:43

Selfridges book department sells busybooks and prob not somewhere you would think to look. That's the store near me I'm not sure about online.
