Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

Just bought some lovely pyjamas for Christmas Eve in the Cath Kidston and Little White Company sales. Not Christmas themed, but very sweet, and both around 1/2 price. Also Cath Kidston is doing free delivery (FREEDEL18) on orders over £25 so if you're buying a couple of pairs you'll be over the threshold.

Has anyone come across any minecraft themed wrapping paper at bargainous prices?

I’ve found this and this on amazon but they’re both a bit too expensive. It’s for Santa gifts so I don’t want to run short or blow the child’s budget on the wrapping either. Hoping to find a big cheap roll of something that, if you squint just right, is sort of mine-crafty

Are different types of Magna Tiles interchangeable? I'm tempted by the Playmags posted earlier for my DTD's who will be 5 but does this mean we're committed specifically to Playmags for ever more? Thanks

That’s good news about revolution make up being decent. I ordered myself a few bits. Thought worth a try at that price. My 7yo is into stealing mine atm so no point buying expensive stuff 🙈

The Todays special value on QVC is the Echo Show. My friend has one and my OH was drooling over it —I’m not going to lie, I loved it too—

I know these aren’t to everyones taste but it’s at a great price and the large screen just gives it that little extra WOW factor. The price is £114.98 for today only (plus p&p) and is available in black and white. It’s £199.99 from other retailers, and camelcamelcame shows it’s lowest price as £129.99 so this beats that. I’m sure it’ll drop again on Black Friday but at this price, I’m happy to bite the bullet.

My ds has just announced he’d like a LEGO trains set for Christmas. I’m at the price of them, on the plus side he doesn’t mind which one! If anyone sees any bargains I’d be very grateful

I should also add, the Wcho from QVC cane be paid for in 3 interest free payments (they don’t credit check you) It’s just called Easy-pay. The payments for the Echo are 3 x £38.

My house it like Christmas at the moment. Things from Amazon, Rex of London, Gap, Mountain Warehouse have all come through! My son was verye excited to see the Mr Maker pack with his name on today. I was going to put it away as a rainy day activity but he was so happy to get post I let him have it. I can't remember who said about the pack but it is good and very easy to cancel.
I've also ordered the Pact coffee with the free starter pack looks quite good and as my bil loves coffee I thought a nice little present for him. Might get my dh to order one for us!

Who would I complain to regarding Poopsie, Argos or the company who makes it? Dd was so upset about the slime but she has fallen in love with the bloody thing so I don’t think I could prize it out of her arms to return! I’ve watched YouTube videos of them making slime and nobody else seemed to have the issue with leakage, I said we could try again today (with lots of bin bags and kitchen roll down)
We bought it here I still annoyed with myself at the price!!

On a bargain note, I saw on the Lego shop today if you spend over £35 you get a free pug, don’t think it’s worth much on its own but handy if you were placing an order anyway.

When I was working out which ones to buy I read this which suggests the Playmags are interchangeable with the magna-tiles. I think neither are compatible with magformers though? I was choosing between Magna-Tiles and Playmags so I'm happy on the basis that they are compatible.

jammie you can make a complaint to the place you bought it at. It's between them and you the trade has been.
I would contact the store and request a replacement given that you have received a faulty product. That way your dd still gets her toy.

Just received my Magpie stuff and it’s ace!!

I got two of the record boxes for DP and the quality is fantastic, especially for the ridiculously low price I paid!

For the poster looking for an app - if you open the App Store you should find a list of all apps you’ve ever downloaded even if they’re no longer on your phone. You can re-install from there. I used one called Manage Christmas last year which I like but wish there was an easy way to archive last year’s lists so I can refer back to them and be sure I’m not duplicating.
