Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Muddlewitch · 21/08/2018 22:30

Thanks singing for the den building kit link - i've just ordered one for DS. Top Cashback have 12% cashback on The Works orders at the moment too for anyone else thinking about getting one.

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but Smiggle have a 3 for £5 offer on some things, including a few that are usually £5 each. Online here and in store - went to get a bday present for DD's friend but might pop back without the kids and get some for stocking fillers.

Isadora2007 · 21/08/2018 22:54

Thank you @muddlewitch that’s stockings and gym friends sorted!!

I am pondering those towels in white - is that a bad idea?!

PurpleTigerLove · 22/08/2018 00:59

Not a Christmas bargain as such ( but a bargain nonetheless) . If you sign up to a website called bookbub they will send you daily emails for bargain or free books . Today’s included freakonomics which is a super read . £1.99 on kindle .

We have white towels, SheStood. They're fine. I'm considering getting a bundle too!

Alanamackree · 22/08/2018 07:04

In my real life shopping adventures I found these Pom Pom pens on The Works for £1. My dn was longingly stroking similar pens in the My Top Model range recently and their prices are eye watering.
The Dragon pens were two for £3 in The Works or £3 each online and lovely stocking fillers. The photo is rubbish but they are very nice quality.

It’s probably not worth mentioning since I think we’ve all already bought the 64 pack of Star Wars crayons from toysforapound but Home Bargains have a collectible tin with the crayons for £2.99 which is a nice substantial size and still an excellent price for Crayola crayons.

I’m after some sort of flashing ball or sensory balls for my sons stocking. He will be 11 months at Christmas. I found a glitter ball in asda yesterday but it was full of water so I don’t want to get it in case it bursts. Has anyone seen anything suitable on theie travels please? eBay do a pack of sensory balls but they’re coming from abroad, I only ever buy from uk sellers in case there are any problems.
Thank you!

Singingitoverandoverandover · 22/08/2018 07:29

smell Sensory ball pack at the entertainer reduced to £8. They have other shapes there too. And hey had hard flaahing big bouncy balls for couple pound when I was in too
I also got baby bath toys in Sainsbury’s reduced to £1.20 each that flash in the bath (or when the bottom is touched) they are Sainsbury’s own brand and come individual, stars turtles etc
Smyths do hairy balls with a face on. snigger Football size though

Smellybears · 22/08/2018 07:38

I’ll have a nosey in the entertainer, thank you! I always think it’s for older kids in there.
I bought a couple of those bath toys from sainsburys the other day, I’m going back today to have a nosey at what else I can find! No doubt I’ll end up spending a fortune again! The hairy balls sound, ahem, interesting! 😂

Smellybears · 22/08/2018 07:38

I’m also looking for a George pig backpack too. Am I best waiting till the kids go back to school and see if they come down in price?

WhirlwindHugs · 22/08/2018 07:46

smelly www.character.com/collections/peppa-pig/products/george-the-pig-backpack-explorer-george character.com is often good for character back packs, pj's, hats etc on sale. They have a George back pack for 3.95

GruffaloStick · 22/08/2018 07:55
