GH Get Ahead For Xmas 2018 magazine

Bought this magazine yesterday and really like it.

There's a couple of things that are on their calendar which are later than I'd do them.

The get ahead recipes are great though. All fairly straight forward and a lot of them are crowd pleaders so perfect for entertaining.

Has anyone else bought it?

Not yet. I need to though!

I have, although have resisted opening it until I can give it my full attention! Maybe when DS goes back to school

, I might well buy this and read it when I'm on holiday (I'll get judgey looks no doubt , but Hey they'll go right over the top of my my sweaty little head )

I wanted to get this on my way to work, but two out of three shops were still closed and the third didn't have it. Boo.

I know! And TBH it's really for the proper crafter people among us. I'm definitely more of a DIYer so it's not been worth it for me.

I bought the GH one this morning to read at the hairdressers. Got to the hairdresser to discover my appointment is tomorrow!

Is the GH mag worth it? I can't find it online unfortunately.

I think it is. I'm currently planning my Christmas baking and starting my list of ingredients I need to buy!

Walked to 3 different shops today which involved uphill, in heat, with buggy with someone who refused to nap(which I convinced myself was the end goal of the journey) over 2 hours. They didn't have it anywhere 😖

Where does one find this elusive magazine?

I got mine from Spar. Tesco and Asda didn't have it!

I searched in WHSmith and nothing. I actually asked a shop assistant and said before asking 'I'm going to sound a bit crazy', she said 'oh no, you'd be surprised'. After I asked she said 'I see what you mean' hahahah!! Hoping to find it tomorrow. I won't give up!

I spotted this in my local Morrisons this afternoon. It might be worth trying there if your near to one.

Just got it! W H Smith in Paignton. I tried to buy it on the self serve discreetly but the till messed up and the intervening staff kept saying “is it really a Xmas magazine?” “In August?”

I'm hoping to get it to read on my flight to Italy on Tuesday, fingers crossed they have it at Birmingham airport. I think I'm more excited about the magazine than the holiday.
