So we're nearly there now, I'm counting down on one hand the number of sleeps!

Still time to post info on Christmas bargains but I'd also love to hear how the gifts you got went down on the big day and also share notes on sale finds

HAPPY CHRISTMAS,!!!

Boots 70% off has been confirmed as starting Friday (according to MSE)

It's normally online and offline but last year it was offline only so who knows. If it's online the website usually goes down for a few hours then back online early hours of the morning (different time each year) with 70% off

nickdrakeslovechild · 18/01/2018 22:55

Can you let me know what went down well with 7 year old girls please?

TellMeItsNotTrue · 19/01/2018 06:11

starlight36 · 19/01/2018 10:27

My 7 year old loved her Build A Bear stuffing station (birthday money was used to buy refills), VTech Kidi Superstar and some My Little Pony figures were the biggest hits.

PerfumeIsAMessage · 19/01/2018 13:46

Hello you lovelies! How the hell are we?

I am still in post Christmas denial so bought a shitload of Emma Bridgewater lovely Christmas pottery this morning for meeeeeee (I need some pasta bowls, honest guv, and they are the sampler ones that can be not Christmassy as well as Christmassy) and for putting away for next year.

My last L'Occitane order arrived after Christmas so I've put that away for next year.

PerfumeIsAMessage · 19/01/2018 13:48

Catching up with everything- probably the most lovely gifts and most appreciated were.......drumroll- the Amazon light boxes (dd loves it more than anything) and the Bloom Christmas Trees that come in an envelope thing- they were absolutely gorgeous and my Mum and Aunt (both in nursing homes) loved them- little baubles and twinkly lights and everything, so further Flowers for the MNer on this thread who told us about them.

Luckily I had a free morning this morning so made it to the Boots sale. Actually went to 2 different ones as they had completely different stuff left. Got several Jack Wills sets for birthday presents for teenage girls, FcUK for teenage boys and Soap & Glory toiletries and make up for presents for Xmas 2018. On my travels I also picked up 10p tinsel at Wilkos. They also had some good deals on toys but my kids are teenagers. They had a toycampervan with sounds (or was it lights?!) Down from £30 to £10 and some imitation Lego. Some quite big boxes for only £2. Also popped in to White stuff (Got a tunic top I'd had my eye on £37 instead of £55). Also went in Next but no sale stuff on display now.

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 20/01/2018 13:07

Hello everyone. Have been in a few shops recently that has got rid of all Christmas stock so I think I've missed out on some bargains. Tempted to go to my local boots but I bet all the good stuff has gone by now

ShoopShoop · 20/01/2018 16:51

Delurking to say that if anyone is on O2 rewards there is a nice Nails Inc set on offer for £20 plus P&P down from an alleged RRP of something like £89.

Also the Fur Real Sniffin Sawyer - a polar bear thing is down from £34.99 to £15.99 on Amazon (sorry if I'm repeating something that's already been said).

Fubbs · 20/01/2018 17:05

I've been busy in the sales - thanks to posters for the Terry Pratchett book idea (three copies on their way), Sophie Allport reminder (sis's December birthday all done) and I've done some major shopping in the Woolovers sale as there was an extra 10% off the sale. And their euro conversion rate is very good. Only twigged after I'd put in the massive order but got it for the second sale order. Need to sit on my hands now!

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 22/01/2018 15:26

Went shopping today. They had 75% off at my local garden centre all their Christmas stuff so go a few bits there. Also got some nice bits in to maxx and in hobbycraft got a paint your own ceramic Father Christmas for £1 (it's a good size too). M&S and John Lewis Christmas stuff was really disappointing with only 50% off.

VivaJen · 25/01/2018 16:18

Amazon are doing a code for today only "BIGTHANKS" it gives £10 off if your qualifying order is over £50. I had to buy a sack of dog food so I ended up getting a couple of books for free.

duckling84 · 25/01/2018 19:49

Wilkos have reduced all their Christmas stock to 10p.
Dh came home with over 50 baubles, 8 rolls of wrapping paper, 5 mugs, 3 tree decorations, wall stickers, gutter hooks, wreath holder, and a couple of LED canvas for under £3. He also picked up a 7ft flocked tree for £5!
In store only

TellMeItsNotTrue · 25/01/2018 20:25

Procrastination has paid off for me, meant to order something from Amazon at start of the week but haven't had a chance so just saved £10 on it!

Also ordered an echo dot for parents because they really want one after seeing sisters (that I got through here using someone's sonos code) so saved £10 on that too by using other account

AgnesBrownsCat · 25/01/2018 21:59

Star Wars lego annual on a zone for £1 . Comes with a mini figure

The 100pc magnetic tile set is on offer on Amazon for about £29 - it says £46 or something, then you can click on a promotion that takes more off at the checkout. I got a smaller set after a recommendation on here and they were the standout hit this Xmas with my 2 (3 & 6). They absolutely love them, so much that I had to buy another smaller set as they were squabbling over them. Now I've ordered the 100pc one!! Can't recommend it enough.

imsorryiasked · 26/01/2018 16:19

Cuski have some of their lovely Happy Blankets reduced to £10
