So we're nearly there now, I'm counting down on one hand the number of sleeps!

Still time to post info on Christmas bargains but I'd also love to hear how the gifts you got went down on the big day and also share notes on sale finds

I bought a few Xmas gifts from Sainsburys which were reduced:
Mermaid doll £2.40 down from £10
Drinks cup £1.50 down from £5
Water bottles £1.20 down from £4
Wrapping paper reduced to 50p

I spent most of my Christmas money yesterday:

Found a red cape! Online downto £24 from £30 so not a huge saving but looks lovely and free delivery
And bought a Swarovski phone case half price
Hovering over a red jumper in Debenhams sale now.

my dds fav thing to do with fingerling is make it fart (tap 2 fingers either side of hair on its head) or burp (hold upside and tap 2 fingers on its head). are they supposed tointeract with each other?

Our fingerling did come with a list of sounds and how to make them. Instruction leaflet was in the packaging with it (didn't know about the burping and farting though - dcs will find that hilarious )

The big fail was a pair of £5 pleather trousers. Could not even get them up so they're going back.

Argh! Massive mummy failure 😣 dd desperately wanted the cutie stick create station for Christmas so FC dutifully provided.... only he didn't think to buy any refills for it and now I can't find them anywhere except Amazon for twice the price they retail at!!! All our local toys r us are out of stock, Smyths don't stock them anymore (according to the man instore) and Argos don't have them either!!!! Does anyone know where I can get some from???

phoenix where did you get £5 onesie from please? I have just ordered some reduced onesies and dressing gown from peacocks but they are £15 and £10. Have tried looking in town but nothing in shops for DS16 so having to order online.

@woodwaj yeah they retail at £4.99 in shops (where you can get them!!!) I'd rather not pay Amazon prices if I can avoid it but it looks like the only way to do that is a trip into the next city 😣

admiral not sure if it's the same but look similar - nail art sticks from Aliexpress. There are lots of options and price varies but pretty cheap.
