One year DS2's list was mainly different kinds of cheese. Luckily I found an online site that did them. He was only twelve at the time.Weird child.

insomniac123 · 11/12/2017 11:25

New wool, patterns and knitting needles... She's SEVEN

Oatmeal squares breakfast cereal (teenage DD)

You can only buy it in the US so it is far too expensive for everyday.

Alakazam7 · 11/12/2017 12:40

Christmas Knickers with pockets and grey and white tiger leggings are my unusual requests that I haven’t managed to track down yet!

Tinselistacky · 11/12/2017 12:43

Ds9 wants a bucket of marshmallows.
Dd10 wants mashed potatoes and gravy!!

Leanin15yearsmaybe · 11/12/2017 12:46

Omg tinsel my 10 year old wants mash and gravy too!! What is that all about? Is it a new fashion brand/toy/game that we don't know about and are taking too literally??

DownWentTheFlag · 11/12/2017 12:48

When DS was 2 I bought him a lint roller for his stocking. He used to pinch ours all the time and cry “roll me!” as if it was a massage tool. He was over the moon to have his own!

Juanbablo · 11/12/2017 13:01

Big Christmas bow.

I eventually figured out she had seen it in Claire's accessories.

CheeseGirl4 · 12/12/2017 20:35

As a seven year old I asked for four pork pies, a fact my family haven't forgotten as I've received them a few times since! Plus other gifts, lucky for me.

BelligerentGardenPixies · 12/12/2017 20:40

Tin of squirty cream is on one of my kids lists.

BayLeaves · 12/12/2017 20:42

Aww, the weirdest thing on my son’s Christmas list is sunglasses - not very wintery.

GeekyWombat · 12/12/2017 20:44

“Sparkly shiny wand like Oscar at nursery has.”

There IS no Oscar at nursery. I asked, just in case I could see this exotic item.

Taking DD to the local panto between Christmas and New Year. Hoping there will be some kind of LED spinning joy there she will be excited by.

Irontheshirts · 12/12/2017 20:45

White sliced loaf was always on my DDs list.

Allthebestnamesareused · 12/12/2017 20:46

My Ds wrote a number of amusing thank you letters when he got cash when he was about 10.

Thanks for the £10 I am putting it towards a tattoo (Ps. don't tell Mum)

Thanks for the money. I am spending it on wine, women and song.

I let him send them out too.

I didn't let my other son send this thank you note to a relative who had bought a football for a child in Africa in his name.

He wrote: "Thanks for the football. One day when I am visiting my goat I'll be able to play with it!" the goat had been a previous present from the same relative but at least he remembered!

BertieBotts · 12/12/2017 20:47

Grin Testing Santa??

Codlet · 12/12/2017 20:47

Friend’s DS has asked for a vortex to candy land!

Threadbear11 · 12/12/2017 20:48

Alakazam they sell grey leggings with white tigers on in next. Theyre in boys section.

BertieBotts · 12/12/2017 20:49

Grin Allthebest you've clearly taught your children well with their comic skills!

Bluelonerose · 12/12/2017 20:50

Dd has asked for a dishwasher coz she's sick of washing up.
I keep telling her as soon as we have the kitchen done we will get one.

PeaceLoveAndDixie · 12/12/2017 20:53

My 4yo wants a blue retractable dog lead with his name on! We do at least have a dog or it would be more weird.

paxillin · 12/12/2017 20:54

My nephew asked for his brother's toy. Not one like that toy, no the actual thing. He didn't want the toy, he just didn't want his brother to have it either.

KaliforniaDreamz · 12/12/2017 20:56

cracking up here

n1cknack · 12/12/2017 20:56

The year before last my dd wanted an Easter Egg!
