Thanks BeaLola some lovely suggestions there
Yes, I was all geared up to getting FIL again this year as I'd had a brainwave on what to get him and instead I got SIL! It's a bit ridiculous, last year a couple of the brothers drew each other and decided to cancel it out so neither of them got anything - how Christmassy is that?? Xmas Hmm

margaritasbythesea · 05/12/2017 13:02

Thank you for the board game information.

I have spent the morning wrapping and am not done! It does include all presents to my children from everyone for Christmas, birthday and Reyes (when Spanish children get their presents on 6th January). It is like a gigantic jigsaw puzzle and I am LOST!

BettysFestiveFrolics · 05/12/2017 13:08

I have a voucher code for 20% off Benefit if anyone can make use of it? Not sure if it's single use so sorry if it is. It's HSD20A-SNM4.

Taffeta · 05/12/2017 13:54

macnab - what about a voucher for a half day mindfulness retreat?

Mallowmarshmallow · 05/12/2017 14:14

Does anyone have any Smyths voucher codes. I’m wobbling and I think I need to exchange one or two of the Playmobil bits for a Paw Patroller and I already have a return voucher for Smyths so would like to get one from there.

macnab · 05/12/2017 14:19

Hi Taffeta she often books into a spa for a half day (over a weekend) to destress and gets lots of breaks away with her girl friends and partner (who often buy each other 'experience' type gifts) so I'd like to get her a thing that she can use/enjoy even though I'd love the mindfulness course for myself

Lovemusic33 · 05/12/2017 14:23

Has anyone seen any cinema passes/gift set things on offer anywhere? I need to get something for my dad and his partner and it’s all I can think of as they are quite well off and tend to just buy what they want.

Tiggles · 05/12/2017 14:27

Bargain hunters, please can you help me out! At the school Christmas fair my DS (with autism) saw a massive inflatable purple ball (maybe 50cm in diameter), slightly soft fabric around it so not cold and hard to the touch. Unfortunately you had to win it, which he didn't. So I thought I would get him one for Christmas as it is the first thing in a long while he has really really wanted. But I can't find one. As a vicar I am currently in a mass of services and don't have much time to trawl the net, let alone the shops. If anyone could find one I would be eternally grateful! Thank you.

Aworldofmyown · 05/12/2017 14:27

I've just bought Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit from W H Smith for £6.99.

Seems to be £9.99 everywhere else.

Wenchelda · 05/12/2017 14:29

Picked up a good stocking filler for 5yo today ... this giant calculator from sports direct for £4! (It’s the same size as an A4 piece of paper Shock)

Tiggles · 05/12/2017 14:41

Jed yes that is almost exactly it! Thank you. If there is a purple version anywhere it would be absolutely perfect, but at least I now know what to look for!

PunkAssMoFo · 05/12/2017 14:47

@margaritasbythesea try here for Djeco. You can sometimes find discount codes too.

Jedbartletforpresident · 05/12/2017 14:56

Lots of different colours available it would seem here Tiggles but can't find a purple one. Sorry!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 05/12/2017 15:02

Has anyone seen a Monsoon code on their travels? The party dress I absolutely must not buy DD is calling to me again...

Reastie · 05/12/2017 15:39

Tiggles maybe ask the school where they got theirs from as they might have purple in stock there

margaritas good to see another person who celebrates Reyes, we normally host but not this year.

DillieDoily · 05/12/2017 16:06

Has anyone seen a boys Christmas shirt or nice long sleeved tshirts anywhere? He gets too hot in Christmas jumpers. I’d need an age 7-8 (or age 8 if they size them that way)

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 05/12/2017 16:47

For the £100 secret santa Shock What about a nice weekend bag. Does she have any interests other than work?

handmademitlove · 05/12/2017 16:57

DillieDoily asda has some shirts and t shirts in but can't find the shirt online!

imsorryiasked · 05/12/2017 17:02

@DillieDoily John Lewis and Debenhams both had nice ones. But all the supermarkets and primary / matalan do them. Just search for 'boys Christmas tops'

gingerbreadmam · 05/12/2017 17:08

@dilliedollie there is this on next

I'm thinking of buying this from Next - www.next.co.uk/g88266s1#155957

They also have a short sleeved star wars Christmas t-shirt and an all over print Christmas t-shirt
