@Cataline - another vote for the Boden Breton here. They are lovely fabric and fab quality. The code DEF1 takes an additional 20% off sale prices (and free delivery) so would being them in budget and make a great gift.

Can anyone remember where those bird boxes are from that stick to your window?
And sorry if it's a silly question but whilst they look fab I'd be worried about a) how good the suction cups are to keep them stuck to the window in bad weather etc. And b) if the birds would be put off by the fact it's clear and they wouldn't feel protected/secure

casablanca78 we have this one from Amazon. We live in an exposed area prone to storms and it's not come off. It also has holes to put a cord through to fasten inside the window to stop you dropping it when removing / placing it.

We've found the birds tend to fly off when 2 year old Ds spots them and starts shouting but they come right back. The cat sits on the window cill staring at them though and they just seem to know she can't do anything and ignore her.

Re: Costa - definitely phone them to find out before you buy the card as DD and I found that one at a University (one of the many open days we went to so I can't remember where) wouldn't take a gift card.

A lot of them use the Costa coffee and name but are not actually Costa IYSWIM
