I need some slippers for DS who has very sweaty feet, which means he hasn’t been able to wear slippers really. His feet get hot then sweat, then wet and really cold. I’ve tried natural fibres like sheepskin. Can anyone solve this for me!

Sixp · 30/11/2017 09:07

Oh also although he’s quite young, his feet are a massive size 7-8. But adult shoes are too wide, not sure if slippers would be too...

Silvercross dolls pushchair was £29.99 now £7.99 at Toysrus, not a lot of stock left but still worth a look

M and s Loctraine Shea butter gift set half price at 5.50 in a lovely yellow bag. Saw it on play pennies website.

To the two ladies looking for slippers, I wonder if Motties would fit the bill www.motties.co.uk/ I came across them quite a few years ago, think they were in a guardian gift guide, and got DH a pair. They are handmade from leather and the inner is wool. When they wore through a bit after a few years she repaired them. She does kids sizes too and I bet she could advise on width, she was super helpful.

You have to get right up to whatever you want to take a pic of.

Just ordered Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare (2016) for PS4 on Tesco direct for £5.

Also Tesco Groceries/in store have kids of gift sets half price. Just ordered DP the L’Oréal Men Expert barber shop box from £20 down to £9.37 and the wash bag £7.50 from £15. Also a little lynx mini bag for his rugby kit for £1.30 odd. Worth doing a click and collect if you had £40 worth of gifts to get!

Spam88 · 30/11/2017 10:43

15% off Twinings Christmas boxes with the code BOX. Not a massive saving but might help someone 🤷‍♀️

dolfinne · 30/11/2017 10:44

thought i was saving this morning ordering a few things from M & S online with a gift card i had, within 5 minutes of ordering i get an email saying out of stock and turns out they refund gift cards via post, so now it could take 10-14 days for gift card to arrive ! i thought places just refunded onto the same card

BubbaLips · 30/11/2017 10:46

Can anyone recommend a place to get some of those battery powered candles? My auntie has frequent power cuts. Or would one of those lightboxes throw out more light? I can only spend up to £20 because posting overseas too. At the moment she has lots of candles and fairy lights!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 30/11/2017 11:06

Midget gems and flying saucers are good for bulking out sweet cones - cheap in tesco :)

For those doing hampers I've been buying the grocers crates of clementines from aldi/lidl/tesco for around £2.80 and saving them. Im planning on covering in nice tissue or christmas paper for little gift hampers. Saves a bit of money :)

Grumpy cat christmas carol plush reduced to £2.96 if u buy any 2 things on gund website you get a free itty biddy boo plush (little dog apparently from youtube) worth £13. They have lots of offers on pusheen too! grumpy cat

Jaffalong · 30/11/2017 11:26

Waitrose has a few one day Christmas offers this weekend.

Friday 1 December all boxed chocolates are half price

Saturday 2 December all cheese from the cheese counter half price. Max 2kg per customer.

Sunday 3 December all boxed Christmas fruit cakes will be half price

RJnomore1 · 30/11/2017 11:30

Brilliant find no cuts. There's pusheen stickers at £1.95 and shippings free so for £4.90 I got the teeny Xmas boo, the grumpy cat and the stickers delivered.

Trying to resist the m and s loccitane on click and collect 😬

Regressionconfession · 30/11/2017 11:35

For those trying to help the person looking for a 'garage with ramp', it was probably on

this thread you read about it.

ThePurpleGirl · 30/11/2017 12:03

Fingerlings are currently available on Amazon! Various colours. Get in there quick!

WhyamIBoredathome · 30/11/2017 12:15

I'm having a grumpy day. I arranged 3 deliveries, with 3 couriers for yesterday because I could be home. all were allegedly out for delivery but none arrived. Now after contacting various companies they are apparently all going to be delivered today, but no sign yet and I have to go out this afternoon to pick up DS. What are the chances they will all turn up in the 45mins I'm out?

VeganIan · 30/11/2017 12:16

Are those fingerlings the £15 ones? I've no idea what I'm looking for Smile

VeganIan · 30/11/2017 12:27

I am very late on this, I've found the perfect colour on www.fingerlingsonlinestore.com - is that a complete scam?
