Thanks for the advice. I've gone Lego for both 8year olds and a skateboard for the 14 year old. I may pop some smelliest in as well.

BrollySmolly · 04/11/2016 14:16

Heaven - we also got eBay bikes for Christmas one year. My then 10 year old and 7 year old had 24 and 26" bikes. I bought them both from two different local sellers and they were both in perfect condition. I think they cost around £30 each and they still use the same bikes 3 years on.
I also used gumtree for 5 year old's birthday bike this year for £20.

GardenWorm · 04/11/2016 14:36

Dibble is down to £6.90 on amazon

GardenWorm · 04/11/2016 14:36

DOBBLE!

Tiggles · 04/11/2016 14:50

Heaven I can thoroughly recommend frog bikes. A new one might be a bit outside your budget but they are as good quality as Isla bikes but a lot cheaper.

Badders123 · 04/11/2016 15:00

I've bought the jack will rucksack for ds1

Haudyerwheesht · 04/11/2016 15:01

Is there any bath stuff anyone can recommend for Dd (6) she loves bubble bath but gets thrush so don't like using it.

playmobilpeacock · 04/11/2016 15:02

Can anyone point me in the direction of cheap bbq accessories? I'm thinking an apron, tongs, heat resistant gloves etc.

Badders123 · 04/11/2016 15:06

I would suggest stuff from lush - all natural ingredients

todayisabeautifulday · 04/11/2016 15:11

Not sure if already mentioned but shopkins slumber party collection is currently £8.73 with Amazon prime. Lowest it has ever been.

Apresskiplease · 04/11/2016 15:38

Thanks today , I bought the Space Rocket.

15% off at Aspinal with code GIFT16

sewmanychildren · 04/11/2016 15:57

Heard about this from our local radio's deal of the day and it was exactly what dd15 wants for Christmas:
Suitcase turn table, half price at £50.

Heavenscent86 · 04/11/2016 16:06

Thank you for the bike tips everyone. I'm going to have a look into these makes. I have seen the careera ones. I will look at them again and see exactly what there is

IAmAPaleontologist · 04/11/2016 16:10

haud i second lush for bath things. There is a lot on there that will give you thrush before you can say bath bomb but there are some great ones too, have a look at things that are cocoa butter based. Also, more boring but sanex kids comes in huge bottles and makes good bubbles.

oncearedstar · 04/11/2016 16:10

does anyone know if tesco ff or asda george do any similar offers like tu on clothing ? there is a coat i would like to get dd but not sure if worth waiting i know two years ago ff used to do student discount but that seems to have stopped. Also are the next referal codes still a thing or offers for new account ?

Chocolateteabag · 04/11/2016 16:14

Crew Clothing have 20% off and free delivery/returns with WINT162F (that's my friends code cos you are all my friends aren't you Xmas Grin )
Valid on full price stuff til 22nd of Dec - it's instore and online but you need the little card I have in front of me

Chocolateteabag · 04/11/2016 16:16

I can't get the Pure Collection £10 off code to work with anything small - it likes the jumper I don't really need and can't afford but takes the £10 back if I just have a key ring in there

pantherfootballforever · 04/11/2016 16:19

haud what about buying something like Sanex and then buying a fancy bottle to keep it in. Your DD needn't know it's not fancy bubble bath - the bottle will be enough to make it seem special. Charity shops often have really nice glass bottles or look on eBay or Amazon for fancy shaped plastic ones. You could even personalise it for her. My DDs can only really tolerate Oilatum so I feel your pain - even places like Lush bring their eczema out

ToastyFingers · 04/11/2016 16:20

oncearedstar

I can refer you to next if you pm me your full name and email address.

Eva50 · 04/11/2016 16:25

Chocolate I'm having the same problem with pure. I am trying to get a bracelet and it won't take the codes off. It also wants to charge delivery.

GardenWorm · 04/11/2016 16:32

Lots of Sylvanian at best price according to CCC:
Sylvanian boutique £25
camping £7.50
Cosy cottage starter home £13.50
Cosy cottage furniture £11.99

Badders123 · 04/11/2016 16:43
