Anyone know what the boots star gift is today?
Would it suit a 13 year old
Boy?

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 04/11/2016 11:48

Star gift is Jack Willis set reduced from 50 to £25 Wink

luckiestgirl · 04/11/2016 11:49

Bluetooth speaker on Amazon lightning deal. great reviews, £25 down from £133.

Badders123 · 04/11/2016 11:49

I wonder if my 13 would like that?

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 04/11/2016 11:52

I would think so Badders

BrollySmolly · 04/11/2016 12:12

I've been to sainsburys and bagged a couple of Halloween outfit bargains Smile.

They had lots of Christmas things out including some lovely unicorn themed sets that I walked straight past.

I also noticed this Elsa bubble bath was £6 in sainsburys. I bought the exact same bubble bath from Asda yesterday for £2.

Can anyone link to the code generator page for the chalk pens please? I am in the review club so have been able to generate a code for the other chalk pens but never actually get an email with the link for it so can only find it if someone here posts the link! Flowers

TobleroneBoo · 04/11/2016 12:23

Does anyone have a link to the minecraft subscription please?

Zeusette · 04/11/2016 12:31

code generator

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown · 04/11/2016 12:33

Thank you thekids that's a really good price but I think the fixed one will be too tall for DS and I'm hoping they will all fit now, last and pass on to the others. I'm after a Globber Up preferably in purple or red (usual price seems to be around the £50 mark), and 2 Globber 5-in-1s; one would certainly have to be pink for DD1, the other for DD2 needs to be a unisex colour (preferably red but it seems to be out of stock everywhere so I'd be happy with green or blue) so it can be passed on to unborn DC4! They usually retail at around £80.

I'd happily pay full price if I knew they'd get used but I'm taking a chance on the older two. Both have ASD and are prone to refusal episodes and I don't really want to pay full whack if they're going to get abandoned or left in the garden to rot!

RoastieToastieReastie · 04/11/2016 12:48

Is the code generator/link in the op message on chalk pens not working? I'm sure I put it in there.

I noticed there wasn't mn secret santa this year. I usually post about gettin bargains and using them for the mn secret santa. Does anyone know why it's not happening this year?

TobleroneBoo · 04/11/2016 13:00

Reastie there have been a few threads about it - i think it became a bit of a popularity contest in the end?

TobleroneBoo · 04/11/2016 13:05

This was the MNHQ response

*Hi all,

We won't be doing a Secret Santa this year but we do have an alternate involving a charity that we will be posting about over the coming weeks, we just need to firm a few things up this end first

We will post when we have more info to share.*

Some others had mentioned on the thread that MN is a bit big for that now and , I think, a bit trolly

RoastieToastieReastie · 04/11/2016 13:08

Well we still may be able to save bargains for the new mn charity version of secrets santa then, which is good.

FireflyGirl · 04/11/2016 13:09

Reastie the generator in the OP does work. I didn't realise you'd put it there until you said though!

wowwee123 · 04/11/2016 13:23

two bomb cosmetic christmas gift sets on amazon daily deals for £17 something.

Good present for any one over the age of about 8 although i would say probably more aimed at females.

supermariossister · 04/11/2016 13:28

Ive got a fatface 15% off the new collection should anyone want it i can pm it.

Not many people left to go now, stumped for dnephew 6 who loves pokemon and superheros.

NotSayingImBatman · 04/11/2016 13:39

HeavenScent check out Carrera bikes from Halfords. I did a LOT of research before buying DS1 a bike and ended up with one of them for about £110. Its aluminium framed so weighs the same as a much more expensive Isla bike, has the same sized down brakes for little hands and, after ten months of hard use, still looks brand new.

He got on it for the first time and literally ten minutes later was riding solo with no stabilisers. I couldn't recommend them enough!

IAmAPaleontologist · 04/11/2016 13:42

Heaven I second eBay for bikes, all mine have second hand hikes and have been give them as birthday and Christmas presents and really don't care that they are second hand. Makes to look for that are very good but cheaper than islabikes if that is beyond your budget are trek, giant and cube. My nearly 10 year old is on a giant 225 which I think I paid about £30 for, the 4 year old has a cube which retails at over £200 which I got for £60. Given her age would she be happy with an IOU? January is a great time to get a second hand bike as everyone is selling the old one having got their child a new one for Christmas.

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 04/11/2016 13:47

I'm looking for a teletubbies blanket for £10 or less, big enough for a cot bed, so doesn't have to be a 'full size' single bed one. Any ideas?
