Back home after having my daughter (pfb arrived on the 1st of November) got back to a mountain of parcels delivered. It's been like Christmas come early! Really impressed with the selection from Flavourly, FIL will love it. Just got to go back and read what I have missed.

IHeartKingThistle · 03/11/2016 19:01

Congratulations on your mini dibdab sherbet Grin

BrollySmolly · 03/11/2016 19:04

My 13 year old recently had the jack wills overnight set from boots - it's a really nice bag for general day use and some nice bits inside too.

Hi great thread lurked last year. I hope I can find some bargains to tell you lovely people about. B and Ms have lots of lovely stocking fillers for good prices. The kitchen in aldi also looks to be good quality if anyone is after those.

stealthsquiggle · 03/11/2016 19:06

OK, signed up for the Met Police appeal - could be made for us nutters - I shall wait and see who I get allocated.

I think I am otherwise largely sitting on my hands now. There are some things (Le Creuset) that I will be looking for in Black Friday deals (which is a pita because that is a stupidly manic weekend for us for other reasons) and I am always open to silly ideas for 14yo DS, but other than that I am pretty much done.

mendandmakedo · 03/11/2016 19:06

my 9 year old is after an ipod so if anyones some bargains( unlikely ) that would be great!!

BrollySmolly · 03/11/2016 19:07

Luckily the bag is cool where we live!
She also got a hype bag, which is another favourite!

stealthsquiggle · 03/11/2016 19:09

Ooooh, I got a baby boy for my MPS appeal recipient. It is a long long time since I had an excuse to buy baby stuff. Off to raid the cupboard stash before I hit the bargains.

Theonlyoneiknow · 03/11/2016 19:14

thanks catanddogmake6 A dolly with dress up outfits sounds like a good plan as she has a few dressing up dresses. Good call, any ones better than others ? Flowers

RoastieToastieReastie · 03/11/2016 19:14

Thank you for the help on the 9 year old girl. I'm going to see what stationary bits I can find and maybe a festive bath bomb too.

Ness1233 have you checked urban outfitters for the Fjallraven backpack?
If you are ordering for the first time you will get 10% off and free delivery.

Catanddogmake6 · 03/11/2016 19:24

theonlyone Sorry no great insight into dolls but if Dollies dresses came in a little suitcase I am sure that would go down very well. Everything is about bags and putting things into things as well at this stage. It also gives them somewhere to live. Sass and belle do small suitcases as I am sure many others do. TK Maxx/ Wilkos might have cheap mini suitcases.

Theonlyoneiknow · 03/11/2016 19:32

thanks [catanddogmake6] !! much appreciated

AdmiralCLingus · 03/11/2016 19:34

theonly b&m had the toddler doll and dress sets like this one for about £10... dd is 4 and loves her elsa doll and anything dress up. There was Ariel, snow white, Anna and elsa and a couple of others.

wowwee123 · 03/11/2016 19:35

hypes a good call.

what about a river island purse for the girl and a hype bag for the boy or some earphones?

selfie lense might be good too.

Catanddogmake6 · 03/11/2016 19:40

Thanks for all the suggestions. Will watch hype avidly for another discount code!

Treadlightly · 03/11/2016 19:45

Thanks for the suggestions! Will look for some minecraft stuff

carrietwick · 03/11/2016 19:45

With regards to the doll Tesco have a new large Sindy doll £20 and various outfits to go with it around £11 each. I think I saw a little wardrobe too. I've bought this for my 4 year old DD.

stillwantrachelshair · 03/11/2016 19:50

Sits what was the Pure code. I need well, dream longingly of cashmere.

todayisabeautifulday · 03/11/2016 19:54

Oh gosh. I got a 17 year old boy for the Met Appeal. Have no idea what they even look like!

verytiredmummy1 · 03/11/2016 19:59

rogl read your post and thought great. Maybe it's an idea for hard to buy for FIL..without reading the link. Then clicked on it and realised lol. That wouldn't have gone down well ha ha!!

rogl · 03/11/2016 20:07
