Ok what else do I "need" from Smyths?
I have a ps4 controller in my basket for £42.99
I could just take the £5 off and be happy but I'm thinking I could get another gift and save £10

Does anyone know anything about go pro type cameras? DB (12) has requested one this year but DM isnt spending £100's when she's already bought his main present. Seen some in Primark for £28. It's mainly for unboxing type videos I think and he wants to take it skiing. Does anyone have experience of cheaper versions, are they worth it?

y0rkier not sure how much of a bargain it is but Match comic (I think it's that one - one of the boys footie comics rather than a grown up footie magazine ) are currently doing a subscription deal for about £70 but you get a free go-pro type camera with it that's supposed to be worth about £60.

I know about it because ds (11) has been pestering me about it. I haven't had a chance to check out the camera yet.

The comic is a weekly one so it seems expensive but it's for loads of issues (no idea if it is just through the footie season or not; but that seems to go on forever and a day so who knows!).

But if somebody wants the camera and the subscription anyway it would make a good deal.

I had the hush reply to my PayPal dispute telling me to close dispute to get refund. I replied saying they would have to resolve the dispute by refunding first. Have had 1 refund processed this morning. Shocking service!

Full refund from Hush 12 hours threatening them with the ombudsman!

My £1 bacon from Cure and Simple was really good. Might take out a new subscription in my husband's name as would be so good in his stocking. Weirdly, it arrives in a packet and does not actually need to be kept in he fridge because cured. Who knew?!

I need some advice about an Amazon order!

A few weeks ago I ordered some very cheap Heelys from Amazon. They were described as Heelys and the price had been discounted so it looked as though they were the genuine brand. I thought they were maybe an old design or something.
Anyway, when they arrived they were a completely different brand. I emailed the (Chinese) seller asking to return for a refund and they fobbed me off a couple of times, so I raised a dispute with Amazon saying that they had been misleading in their description. Amazon dealt with it very well and processed a refund.

However, I still have the shoes. What do I do with them!? I asked the seller twice for an address to return to and I would still be preapred to do this...even to cover the cost and chalk it up as a lesson learnt but I just don't know where to send them.

What's the usual procedure in situations like this?

I'd keep them. This happened to me with a product once. I was refunded and still have the product (which works perfectly fine, but isn't what it was advertised as)

Itoldyou you have shown the good will to return them, dont bother anymore. I am confident Amazon would say the same. In fact, it once happened with Amazon themselves. My order got lost in transit so they sent replacement, week later the original order appeared on the doorstep. Emailed Amazon and their response was that if I wanted I could return one of the packages. I had few weeks old DD at a time so I'm afraid the desire never made itself to notice...
