I am ShockAngryHmm at that Hush email!! I'm fully prepared to be corrected but I'm sure it won't specify in the terms and conditions that the promotion had to be shared in the 'spirit' they prescribe!

As someone previously mentioned they encouraged people to share the links on social media. If Mumsnet isn't blimming social media I don't know what is!

Still no refund so will dispute with PayPal. I wonder if they actually have any PR sense?? Surely they can't be paying for this level of ineptitude.

MumboNumber5 · 25/10/2016 21:44

Still no Hush refund. Hush have appalling customer service.

There's a 40% code at Body Shop (apols if already linked), and boots have the playmobil pirate attack ship for £18 instead of £60!!!

ChoccyJules · 25/10/2016 21:52

I got my £2 back via paypal and my orders were cancelled. I have read their T&C and can't see what we did wrong, they made a mistake and if actually honouring the orders would bankrupt them, they could at least take responsibility and stop blaming the shoppers.
To top it off I got a marketing email from them today. They did not have my email before this.

Ness1234 · 25/10/2016 21:59

It doesn't really matter what Hush do now, having seen the way potential customers have been treated myself and I'm sure others will not be interested in dealing with them. I and many others could have been new customers now buying Christmas gifts so they have lost out. I personally have used several new companies after following this thread. Companies like Hush need to learn that such arrogance does not gain customers. My rant of the day!

IHeartKingThistle · 25/10/2016 22:10

In the clearance bit of the argos website there are digibirds for £2.99. We all got them last year though!

Snooky17 · 25/10/2016 22:12

Reallyshouldknowbetter if you log into to your tasting club online, then click on your regular subscription, then delivery frequency edit- at the very bottom where it shows how often you have your box(es) delivered it has option to cancel hth

Oreocrumbs · 25/10/2016 22:13

I'm interested to see if they do honour the orders since I have now been cleared off being a nasty mumsnetter Hmm.

I'm away at the moment so won't know until I get home though!

Will also be interested to see if they are watching this thread and then send me a rollocking!!

I shall let you know..... my take of the email was that that think they have removed the mumsnetters and so are trying to make it look to their 'proper' customers as though we did something very underhand to abuse the programme when we really didn't.

We did what they wanted, spread the word....

And I totally agree that they would have been much better served to say, look we messed up. We cant possibly honour all of these so please accept this amended offer in its place..... and didn't bother trying to make it look like they are the victim of a scam Angry

CheeseAtFourpence · 25/10/2016 22:13

I had a similar email after I complained about the marketing emails I had asked to be removed from - mine blamed me for me having two differing email addresses, which was irrelevant as I had asked the original email address to be removed.

I mentioned the consumer ombudsman and they have now advised that I won't get any further emails. Also raised a dispute on paypal but no refund yet.

I agree - other great companies on these threads such as Hype which I will certainly buy from again, but Hush are appalling!

HarshHushHumiliation · 25/10/2016 22:16

We should all change our names in protest

beadyboo · 25/10/2016 22:19

I told DH I'd like some new boots for Christmas. Found a beautiful pair in Clarks, but they were much, much more than I wanted to spend. Anyone know if Clarks ever do a discount code?
If anyone has baking related presents to get, I got Twist by Martha Collison (GBBO runner up last year) for £5.99 on Amazon as a stocking filler. It's rrp £16.99 and was in Waitrose last week for the 'bargain' price of £12.

woodwaj · 25/10/2016 22:19

Sorry if its already been posted 20% off and free delivery at Office with code TREAT on full price orders only. I just got my constantly growing toddler some cute little Adidas 😁

beadyboo · 25/10/2016 22:23

Link might help Twist

RJnomore1 · 25/10/2016 22:26

I have had the most unbargainous week even culminating in purchasing my second new iPhone in a week, very have 10 % off all Apple over £100 at least, and yes I know it is not a necessity to have a smart phone but without mines I can't do all the essential things I do all the time check into this thread several times a day in case I miss anything

SilverGiraffe7 · 25/10/2016 22:27

Did a studio order today and after other codes failed me (citing that I wasn't eligible as I'm not a new customer) I tried code 047 (free postage for new customers only) and it did take the postage off whilst telling me I wasn't eligible... Grin

ZIGGY911 · 25/10/2016 22:48

as I can't face searching 12 previous threads, can anyone tell me about the hotel chocolate offer, as it will help with MIL presents. thanks

primitivemom · 25/10/2016 23:16

Evening bargain hunters, would anyone happen to have a simply be code? would much appreciate Smile

Wenchelda · 25/10/2016 23:29

Where can I enter the Sainsbury's voucher codes on the TU website? I got all the way through to entering card details and the "pay now" button but can't see anywhere to enter the voucher code.

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 25/10/2016 23:52

Next thread title - Hush, don't mention it..... !!!!

WindInThePussyWillows · 26/10/2016 00:40

I'm still awaiting my Hush refund, and reply to my email from days ago. I raised a dispute on PayPal and got a pretty speedy email from them shortly after asking me to close the dispute in order for them to process an email.

I have replied telling them I will not close the dispute until they email me addressing all my points, including my request for them to explain to me exactly what I did against their policy to warrant them cancelling my order from their system, and to please reference their terms and conditions displayed at the time of my order confirmation.

I have also told them I will not close my PayPal dispute until I have been issued a full refund.

I also told them I have sent a copy of all correspondence to the ombudsman.

WindInThePussyWillows · 26/10/2016 00:40

Process a refund, not email!

Blu123 · 26/10/2016 06:08

Beadyboo I got some boots for Xmas last year from Clarke's using a 20% off discount code they published, so I would hold off buying them for a bit!

HeyHushLeaveOurThreadsAlone · 26/10/2016 07:32

Pleased to see I still have my sparkly new name this morning Grin

MTWTFSS · 26/10/2016 07:35

www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/free-photo-prints/#3mug

Photo mug from Snapfish for £2.99.

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 07:38

Wenchelda I don't know how to screenshot as I'm on a temporary cheapo phone waiting for Black Friday to get a decent one but there's a section in the basket, just one line saying 'add code or voucher' and a '+' to click to get the box to type into. Hope that helps?

GerrardWinstanley · 26/10/2016 07:39

I'm sure you all know this but paypal will automatically close your disputes with Hush after 20 days whether it's been resolved or not, unless you escalate it to a claim before then. Given that they've cancelled your orders and are refusing to issue refunds unless you close the dispute, I'd be escalating it to a claim now. Really shoddy behaviour from them.
