What hush should've done when they realised they couldn't possibly fulfil the orders is sent out an email being honest about it (like poster upthread mentioned) and cancelled orders but offered another code for something like £10 off minimum spend £20 or £30 so we'd still feel like they were interested in our custom and they wouldn't have lost customers and would have more of a viable offer. I feel like we've been really naughty and done something bad. If they'd have had a minimum order amount in the first place for the code of course they wouldn't be in this mess.

Sew Cool is down to £20 on Amazon but there are just 10 left in stock

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 07:50

Jake and the Neverland Pirates Number Navigate £2.72 as an add-on item.

SideOrderofChip · 26/10/2016 07:52

I didn't buy from hush as they don't stock my cake induced size. But I wouldn't touch it now even for gifts

Overpriced nonsense.

Thunderbirds Are Go International Rescue Role Play Uniform 417/5474 for £3.99

Digibird Assortment 262/1803 for £2.99

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 08:00

I agree, Chip, and if anyone IRL mentions them I'll refer them to this fiasco!

Amazon have the Marshall and Chase basic vehicles slightly reduced to £9.45 from £12.99.

HungryHorace · 26/10/2016 08:01

Does Brantano have the same boots in stock, beady? They always have discount codes going and do often have what you want in stock. Worth a look.

99percentchocolate · 26/10/2016 08:01

I think somebody actually did that one year didn't they Reastie? We all ordered something but they cancelled as they couldn't afford to fulfill all those orders and they sent another code with a minimum spend. Most people re-ordered and they got great PR.
I didn't order from Hush when everything was going on because I was a bit slow but I did get a look at the candles and was planning to order on payday. Not a chance after this. Can't believe they are blaming Mumsnet for their mistake. If I were Mumsnet I'd be refusing their advertising now - I for one am going to get incredibly pissed off if MN advertises them across the pages now, especially considering they are refusing to refund until disputes are closed, leaving us with no recourse if they decide not to refund after all.
I'm interested to hear Mumsnet's standpoint on this.

Not a bargain but help needed for 7 ft Christmas tree. Looking for a wide spruce I think. Traditional style. Any recommendations for sites.
I started a thread last night but no answers (sob)

girlsyearapart · 26/10/2016 08:07

IKEA?

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 08:07

Argos have the Nerf Modulus Tri Strike half price at £29.99. According to my Good Housekeeping magazine (which arrived yesterday Grin) it is expected to be one of the top ten toys this year.

Afreshstartplease · 26/10/2016 08:12

Ooo ty firefly that's on my list!

mashpot · 26/10/2016 08:13

Just a year late to the digibirds thing - what age are they good for please?

Afreshstartplease · 26/10/2016 08:15

Ty to those giving feedback on rose cottage playhouse, I think I'm feeling pretty put off it now, can anyone recommend anything similar (but better) suitable for a 3.8 year old

Elizabethtailored · 26/10/2016 08:18

Hema online. I got some lovely bits from and pretty cheap Christmas wrapping paper bags too.

Good stocking fillers- giant sea salt chocolate initial letters and some cool stationery.

10% off of you sign up to their newsletter and delivery was very fast.

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 08:24

Smyths have got some of their dressing up costumes reduced. Looks like they're in store only, though.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 26/10/2016 08:42

afresh my dd's (almost 8 and 4) have had the ikea big top tent for a couple of years - its brilliant. We can all fit inside - there's room to play and folds down easily. It's only £17 so you could buy a small cooker to have inside. We have the older version of this one from elc www.elc.co.uk/toy-kitchens/mini-sizzlin-kitchen---turquoise-/134186.html

Here's the tent and it's now £12.95 www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/childrens-ikea-products/children-3-7/childrens-textile/cirkust%C3%A4lt-childrens-tent-art-80342052/

ZIGGY911 · 26/10/2016 08:43

It's not Christmas related, but does anyone have a spare meerkat code for the cinema. Taking 6 of us so anything to save would be good.

Changingagain · 26/10/2016 08:43

There's some really lovely Xmas decorations on secret sales atm.

If you buy using this link then I think we get £20 voucher each, link

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 26/10/2016 08:57

I have a pink hatchimal on pre order for DD.

Someone please stop me twitching on the hatchimal before I've even finished my Christmas shopping!

beadyboo · 26/10/2016 08:58

Thanks Blu, will do!

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 09:00

Amazon have Pip Ahoy! Mr Morris' bubble train £7.76 from £23.99. The bubbles are plastic though; it doesn't blow actual bubbles Sad
