I agree about the quality of the peppa toys, specifically the trees on the playground sets, ours have been damaged in storage (they bend easily, then snap)
I've bought a few bits from charity shops

Just seen this retro TV game controller for £12 on Hawkin's Bazaar, good for hard to buy for of all ages...

SomethingOfTheNight · 17/10/2016 20:39

My 15 year old niece is an advertisers dream and totally influenced by trends and peer pressure! She is getting adidas trainers, superdry hoodie and jack wills stuff from her parents and I am looking for the stationary equivalent! What names are that age group into? Thinking pens, notebooks, pencil cases, maybe rucksack etc
Please can anyone help?

I have a 20% ELC birthday club code I won't use of anyone wants it. It's valid until 2nd December. Just pm me.

Popgoesthepelvicfloor · 17/10/2016 20:57

Thank you for the reminder about the Lisa angel code. Mine was also for £3 so I got [[https://www.lisaangel.co.uk/silver-cleopatra-necklace-and-earring-set this]] necklace and earrings for £1.80. Looks v similar to the one Candice wore in gbbo recently that everyone was talking about. Love that its free delivery no matter what you spend.

Snooky17 · 17/10/2016 20:58

Many moons threads ago someone asked about port, found these in home bargains today

Popgoesthepelvicfloor · 17/10/2016 20:59

Bollocks, link fail.

prominent5 · 17/10/2016 20:59

Code has now gone

RoastieToastieReastie · 17/10/2016 21:04

Smoky she would love that port set but the £2.99 seems to be for a gin product not in the picture and from what I can see the port is £4.49 so not as good a deal.

Im after a new microwave as my Christmas present (lucky me). My husband is insistent we buy it now (he doesn't get bargains) but I think we should wait until Black Friday for an offer. Any ideas if its worth waiting

Catanddogmake6 · 17/10/2016 21:13

little reindeer Jack Wills does stationery. Don't know if that helps or is on trend but definitely exists eg pencil cases etc. I bought BIL one when he went back to uni so he was "down" with the kids.

CurriedEggs · 17/10/2016 21:13

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 17/10/2016 21:23

AdmiralCLingus · 17/10/2016 21:30

Their text list/database whatever it is! Sorry my post was a bit rambly!

On a lighter note! Does the lisa angel jewellery come in a box?

RJnomore1 · 17/10/2016 21:36

No in a lovely little gift envelope though.

Do we know Clinique have an advent calendar this year?

LaylaTheMiddleAgedWitch · 17/10/2016 21:48

Yay...found you! Have to say that I got a little confuddled by the thread title though Grin.

Yes RJ. Selfridges have one this year but it seems that they're out of stock for now Sad.
