Anyone want to claim hush order 1244623? Cause it's not mine! It's on the way apparently.

Shine0n · 17/10/2016 18:41

After an hour spent deleting emails I stumbled across an old one from the Chalk Pen people with a link for new members to join. The email was from early September and says that once 300 new members join the doors will be closed again. So I'm unsure if the doors are still wide open, slightly ajar or firmly locked and bolted. The link is below (I don't earn anything for the referral)

www.websitetask.com/ukreview-club/

Shine0n · 17/10/2016 18:44

Oh, my email definitely said 300 people but that link says 250 people. Maybe the door is slowly creaking shut...

cowssheephens · 17/10/2016 18:48

Has anyone noticed the price of the music biscuit tins in marks? Need to get a couple as gifts. Thanks.

CarrotVan · 17/10/2016 18:56

Superdrug have light boxes in their 1/2 price Christmas gifts if anyone is still looking

QueenOfFuckAll · 17/10/2016 18:58

Thank you ShineOn. I have signed up. Hope it works.

Elizabethtailored · 17/10/2016 19:00

Has anyone seen any bargains for peppa pig playset type toys please?

Elizabethtailored · 17/10/2016 19:01

I can confirm that my order from Blippo was great. It arrived pretty quickly and really fun stocking fillers/ stationery etc and it was pennies. Free postage!

QueenOfFuckAll · 17/10/2016 19:02

It seems to work! I seem to have joined!

RoastieToastieReastie · 17/10/2016 19:03

Cow for some reason I want to say a precious poster gave them as £12.99 but I'm not completely sure. I'd say between £10 and £13 but they are usually on offer at some point.

Mom I got a barbie style Anna doll ages ago on Amazon when the price dropped to £5. Might be worth setting up a camel camel camel alert for it. It didn't sing or anything fancy though.

I presume with hush they may well refund orders if they don't want to fulfil them. Usually the contract isn't officially started until they dispatch an item so they would be in their rights to cancel if they wanted to.

My Mum really likes nice interiors (really glossy no-one could actually afford the stuff in them) magazines to browse. I was thinking a subscription might work as her Xmas gift. Can anyone suggest any good ones or offers?

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 17/10/2016 19:29

I've been lurking but need to actually get started on this xmas malarkey now.. I tried hush but was too late, got there after it broke!
I'm looking for something for my 6 yr old, she's asked for a music player, thing is I don't want to spend loads on a cd player when it'll probably be defunct on a coupke of years but by the same token she needs something simple . Was thinking I can get her some audio books etc...any ideas clever people?

mootime · 17/10/2016 19:35

Hello All, I've been trying to stay away, but just can't do it!!
Does anyone know of any Paw Patrol bargains?
Also has anyone bought and received the Pokemon figures in the main thread? Are they any good?

Oreocrumbs · 17/10/2016 19:36

Cowssheephens the musical biscuit tins are £10, I went to buy them today but they aren't as good as other years so I didn't bother. They do usually drop to about £6 iirc.

I did buy some of m&s tins of shortbread, they are on offer at £4.50 from £9.

Boots have a nicer musical biscuit tin, £12 but included in the 3 for 2!

MammaGnomes · 17/10/2016 19:44

I have something to contribute finally

I've just had an email from mothercare offering a £10 off a £50 spend if you download the app. Pretty sure it will be ELC too

AdamantEve · 17/10/2016 19:49

Sorry if already mentioned, just catching up on today's posts...

Anyone who bought from Lisa Angel, check your emails for a "mystery voucher" code. Mine was worth £3 and worked with sale items so I got a bracelet for 60p! Postage is free so it's a great bargain.

Nzou1050 · 17/10/2016 19:49

No hush dispatch email for me yet Sad Placed my orders on Friday and Saturday.

Freezingwinter · 17/10/2016 19:51

Elizabethtailor I spotted lots of Peppa playsets in Home Bargains last week. Think they were cheaper than Argos etc

digitalpaintartist · 17/10/2016 20:03

Here is a link to the Sainsbury's toy sale that starts on Wednesday (in store only). The link lists all the toys going into the sale and what they will be reduced to: www.extremecouponing.co.uk/sainsburys/

Nearlyadoctor · 17/10/2016 20:11

For those querying their Hush order numbers, I order from them quite a lot and the dispatch order number never matches the confirmation one. I think they run two separate systems.

Mipe · 17/10/2016 20:12

Thanks so much for the reminders about the Lisa Angel mystery voucher, I had completely forgotten about it but now have a lovely bath bomb on the way for 50p Smile.

I got a despatch email for one of my free pairs of Hush tights (cheekily ordered 2 but it looks like they are onto me Grin).

CarrotVan · 17/10/2016 20:13

I'm not expecting a dispatch email from Hush for ages as I ordered a candle with a 5-6 week lead time

BadgerFace · 17/10/2016 20:17

ET TKMaxx had some Peppa play sets last year so worth a look at their website/in store. Although I bought all of our Peppa stuff on eBay as it is so pricey new and DD was only 2 when she got interested in it. I'm glad it was second hand as most of the trees have broken and the fences aren't too strong... DD is not a particularly heavy handed child although I guess some may have been broken by visiting friends!

AdmiralCLingus · 17/10/2016 20:23

Folks! Be wary when browsing with your phone!!! Just noticed my phone bill is £15 extra this month.... called my service provider and the woman I spoke to said she can't determine exactly where it came from but is likely from inadvertently clicking a pop up or something when browsing with my phone. I'm absolutely fuming tbh... they've charged ME to text me 😠 can't get through to the company either to make sure I'm off their flipping lists 😠😠😠😠

Tiggles · 17/10/2016 20:29

Thank you to whoever posted the cheap heeleys. I seem to remember someone else a couple of threads ago asked if anyone had seen any. Mine like this arrived today. I don't know how they compare to 'real' heeleys but these look great. The wheel can be easily clipped inside so can walk normally, and the lights work. They arrived quicker than expected. For £20ish they are a definite bargain!
