Hi, if anyone received a £10 off when you spend £30 voucher from Boden but isn't going to use it I'd be super grateful for it. I didn't receive one despite spending a small fortune there this year :( Thanks

perfumedlife · 17/10/2016 23:30

Hi Wonderland, will pm you my code for Boden.

confuugled1 · 17/10/2016 23:33

Tired and on phone so excuse brief comments, lack of names and lack of links...

Portable cd/radio for 7 yr old - check previous thread, same query and several good suggestions

Christmas cushions - if you don't mind cushions rather than cushion cases, there were loads in Asda today mostly around £8 mark. Some incredibly soft and cute ones including square polar bear, sheep, penguin shaped penguin, santa, several involving pugs, favourite was shaped pug wearing Santa hat. Lots of photo printed ones of animals and winter scenes. Only ones I wasn't so keen on we're the faux tapestry ones and the letter ones, they looked a bit cheap.

Home bargains - got a jigsaw ds1 wanted that he saw advertised in the paper of the U.K. With all premiership footie clubs on it - £2 instead of £16. The amigami sets were £2 instead of £15 - an animal and an animal shelter rather than the 2 animals mentioned previously. Still a nice present. Also had handbag sized tissue packets that ere printed like £10/20/50 notes for 29p - cheap but fun stocking present or cracker filer for all ages. Also had similar napkins for 59p a set. Some nice light up letters spelling xmas for £15 (I had them last year and got lots of compliments. And a matching Sabta Stop Here sign for £5. Although they're all plastic when they're on you really don't notice. There were also good deals on bulbs for the garden at half price - £1.49 a pack. And a very cute large melamine pumpkin platter for Halloween for £2.
They also had some cute little Christmas tins either rectangular for 59p or bauble shape/sized for 35p - ideal as a cute box/wrapping for any jewellery bought from Lisa Angel that doesn't have a box! There were also some nice little old fashioned things in boxes ideal for stockings although probably a bit big for crackers. Things like wind up robots or racing cars, tin of cards, jacks, army man with robust parachute etc - all for 99p.

Asda was beginning to get its toy promos on the go and had quite a few left over stationery bits left over from back to school at half price.

Sure there was more I've forgotten!

WheresTheCoffee · 18/10/2016 06:10

I had despatch emails for both of my Hush orders on Sunday, both used a voucher credit. Fingers crossed!

OrangeSquashTallGlass · 18/10/2016 06:59

FYI the deletion message on the hush thread is: 'This thread has been deleted by MNHQ for breaking our Talk Guidelines'

QuilliamCakespeare · 18/10/2016 07:02

On lightning deal at 3.30pm. Not very seasonal in the Northern Hemisphere but boy do I want one!

RoastieToastieReastie · 18/10/2016 07:03

Below are the talk guidelines. Which one did we break I wonder, did we break the law?!

No personal attacks
No posts that break the law
No trolling, misleading or deliberately inflammatory behaviour
No trollhunting
No spamming

OP posts:
OrangeSquashTallGlass · 18/10/2016 07:16

None! Surely we didn't break the law?

Skala123 · 18/10/2016 07:16

Mootime it looks like sainsburys will have lots of paw patrol stuff in their toy sale starting tomorrow (in store only)

Cantscareme I bought my DD a CD player last year and it was a great buy. Was only about £40 and she uses it all the time to listen to stories so I wouldn't worry about CDs being defunct and just go for it

Skala123 · 18/10/2016 07:18

Does anyone have any Sylvanian family bargains or codes that would work somewhere they sell it? DD wants beechwood hall but it's £60 on Amazon

usernumber007 · 18/10/2016 07:18

I've noticed Mumsnet has been advertising hush products quite a bit in their "swears by" email. There was something mentioned a few months ago on the style& beauty forum about hush and Mumsnet advertising it so maybe there is a conflict of interest. Seems funny that that thread broke guidelines yet the cornerstone didn't.

Strawberryfield12 · 18/10/2016 07:45

I was wondering about the reason behind deleting the Hush thread whether it got too heated over the free tights Grin. Maybe somebody from MN can tell us what exactly happened with the thread?
Can't see how we broke the law by using discount codes offered by a company? We didn't hack their website or something to place some dodgy orders to put them out of business.

Strawberryfield12 · 18/10/2016 07:46

hopefully this thread doesn't get deleted for mentioning Hush...

Oreocrumbs · 18/10/2016 07:48

I would think we might have fallen under spamming and hush -if they have some kind of paid deal with mumsnet they may have asked them to remove it.

I know when I shared the link with my friends the message I actually sent them was "I'm going to spam you with a hush discount" ...... that's what I felt like I was about to do.....

Hush if you're reading, we're sorry, we're really nice I promise and bargainous or not, we really do spend a phenomenal amount of money between us!! And I know that lots of us get introduced to new companies through this thread then go on to be regular customers!

Please still send me the candles Blush

Oreocrumbs · 18/10/2016 07:53

Skala123 go on camelcamelcamel and check the price history for beechwood. Off the top of my head it drops regularly to £30 odd do certainly don't need to spend more than £40 ish.

You can set up alerts for it when it drops on Amazon.

I would expect good price drops on Amazon over the next 2 weeks as we are about to go into the half term sales. Failing that the big toy shops will be running various % off of multi buy offers through November so hold tight!

FireflyGirl · 18/10/2016 07:53

Minions movie advent calendar down to £13.85.

Shopkins season 5 mega pack and collectors' case £37.59 from £89.99. I have no idea about these things - DS is too young and none of my friends' kids are into them, but know they've been mentioned on here a lot. Hopefully someone will know if this is a good deal.

Skala123 · 18/10/2016 07:57

Thanks Oreo

Chrisinthemorning · 18/10/2016 08:00

Really hope Hush honour everything. I've checked their website and they haven't taken down the Mention Me thing.
I was referred by a RL friend (who is a MNer) and went on to refer my mum and my Dad. My mum bought tights and my dad bought a candle for my mum. I bought tights but was hoping to get some gloves with the referral money. I don't see how this is cheating the system?

MooseyMoo · 18/10/2016 08:05

firefly No that isn't a Shopkins bargain. The X20 tube is £20 (but can get two for £30 each at Argos) and the display case (which only has two Shopkins in) is £15

ChristmasEvePJs · 18/10/2016 08:26

Pound world (blue) have amigami figures in now. Didn't realise they were worth more, sorry!

Millie2013 · 18/10/2016 08:28

Moosey, you are my shopkins guru! Grin

GiraffeAHolic · 18/10/2016 08:29

Sitting Robert £15 at Asda

Wait4nothing · 18/10/2016 08:47

I placed a hush order on Saturday, received an order confirmation but haven't received dispatch yet. My husband and Mum tried it but it didn't work for them. I don't think we've done anything wrong by using their own advertised offer! If they don't honour it I certainly wouldn't order from them again and discourage others from ordering either.

PinkSquash · 18/10/2016 09:00

Does anyone know of any bargains on Match Attax? I want to get some packs for the DCs advent calendar, but it works out ££££ for a few packs!

chocolatesprouts · 18/10/2016 09:21

I've got these for my Pokémon mad boys for the 1st December from eBay £6.99 arrived from china after about 5 days Smile seller 2-cn765
