Portable cd/radio for 7 yr old - check previous thread, same query and several good suggestions
Christmas cushions - if you don't mind cushions rather than cushion cases, there were loads in Asda today mostly around £8 mark. Some incredibly soft and cute ones including square polar bear, sheep, penguin shaped penguin, santa, several involving pugs, favourite was shaped pug wearing Santa hat. Lots of photo printed ones of animals and winter scenes. Only ones I wasn't so keen on we're the faux tapestry ones and the letter ones, they looked a bit cheap.
Home bargains - got a jigsaw ds1 wanted that he saw advertised in the paper of the U.K. With all premiership footie clubs on it - £2 instead of £16. The amigami sets were £2 instead of £15 - an animal and an animal shelter rather than the 2 animals mentioned previously. Still a nice present. Also had handbag sized tissue packets that ere printed like £10/20/50 notes for 29p - cheap but fun stocking present or cracker filer for all ages. Also had similar napkins for 59p a set. Some nice light up letters spelling xmas for £15 (I had them last year and got lots of compliments. And a matching Sabta Stop Here sign for £5. Although they're all plastic when they're on you really don't notice. There were also good deals on bulbs for the garden at half price - £1.49 a pack. And a very cute large melamine pumpkin platter for Halloween for £2.
They also had some cute little Christmas tins either rectangular for 59p or bauble shape/sized for 35p - ideal as a cute box/wrapping for any jewellery bought from Lisa Angel that doesn't have a box! There were also some nice little old fashioned things in boxes ideal for stockings although probably a bit big for crackers. Things like wind up robots or racing cars, tin of cards, jacks, army man with robust parachute etc - all for 99p.
Asda was beginning to get its toy promos on the go and had quite a few left over stationery bits left over from back to school at half price.
Sure there was more I've forgotten!
