mummyshortlegz thanks for Lego junior link- had my eye on that couple of weeks ago but it went OOS. Also managed to get free delivery as they've given me month trial of delivery saver!

Lovely bargain hunters if anyone sees any Lego advent calendar bargains please shout out. They had them for £15 in duty free but had no hands and travelling just me and DD so bit manic and missed out :( need one for Boy and girl.

Happsymum they had the normal advent lego calendars in Smyths for £15.99 the other day - not a brilliant bargain but better than full price!

happysmum I can't find it now but somewhere up thread someone mentioned that you got a free advent calendar with purchases over a certain amount (£80 maybe?) from the Lego shop between certain dates.
Might be useful if you're buying Lego as the big Christmas gift.
Would be more useful if I could find the details.

Somebody was asking about large dinosaur cuddlies the other day - eBay have some here. I don't think they're Robert sized, but some of them look lovely and are definitely bigger than your 'standard' sized soft toy.

Not a bargain in that it is greatly reduced, more that these are sold for a much higher price elsewhere and this one is a decent price if anyone's looking for an idea for a teenager or young adult maybe.

I bought this for 18 year old God-daughter and was a little wary because there are ones selling for £35 or more and some of the reviews talked about low quality letters etc. It has just arrived today and I've checked it out and it's great. Box is good quality, as are the letters and none of them are stuck together as per some of the reviews. It comes with a USB cable so no need to buy an adapter. My only complaint is that it came from Amazon in the normal box without any additional packaging so I have had to remove all the delivery labels from the box which is a little annoying.

A decent price for what it is and having looked at others in shops (like Oliver Bonas) it certainly seems to compare pretty favourably.

Wintersdawn my 3.5 year old has the £49.99 baby annabel, my 18 month old plays with it on a daily basis and is quite rough with it as its a bit heavy for her. I would say its very sturdy and would take alot to break it!! Wouldnt get the one that wees either!!
