20cm Olaf musical beanie baby £2 add-on item, if anyone needs anything to push up an order for free delivery.

FireflyGirl · 05/10/2016 22:33

I seem to remember people were looking for suggestions for presents on the other thread.

Rory's original story cubes are £7.28 at Book Depository, with free delivery. From age 3, but depending how inventive your child is, will probably get better use out of them from about 5.

Basically, there are 9 dice each with 6 different pictures on and you roll them and then make up a story based on the pictures that come up. There are all different types (including Batman ones). They would make a lovely present, particularly for children who have 'everything'.

Haudyerwheesht · 05/10/2016 22:34

Thanks for the new thread .

I am planning on heading into B&M tomorrow so hopefully will have some bargains to report!

I'm Tesco today they had quite a few of those busy box things including a ghostbusters one. Some were £3.85.

Also keep an eye on the Tesco toy sale. I wanted the Barbie careers teacher but it went out of stock . Checked today and it was available again.

Scaredycat3000 · 05/10/2016 22:34

My light up superhero mask arrived. We now have Iron man and a turtle. The iron man ones have lasted over 2 years so far. I also bought a turtle dress up shell with weapons. We had seen similar for £50 in Toysrus so very happy with the £10 set.

FireflyGirl · 05/10/2016 22:41

Slipper socks in kids sizes 7-8, 8-9 and 10-11 £3 with free delivery at JojoMamanBebe. I've got these for DS, the soles are really thick rubber. They're a great bargain!

They've also got tights for £2, and mittens £3 here

FireflyGirl · 05/10/2016 22:52

mayathebee · 05/10/2016 23:02

FireflyGirl we are a fan of the storycubes in this house too. I picked up the scooby doo comic today because it has a set of 3 'clues' storycubes on the front to add to our set. It was £3.99 which is the same price they are on amazon but they are an add on item plus I get bonus points for buying a comic when I usually moan about how overpriced they are Blush

FireflyGirl · 05/10/2016 23:04

Wilkinsons have a half price sale on some of their toys.

Includes a lot of their blox toys, including the base plates £6 which I've seen recommended on here as compatible with lego. There are also barbie/ken dolls and outfits.

FireflyGirl · 05/10/2016 23:07

maya that would be a great stocking (or any) present!

I stumbled across them on a blog I read and thought what a great idea. DS is still too young for them, but I might pick up a copy of the magazine to put away for next year when he'll enjoy them!

AdmiralCLingus · 05/10/2016 23:12

Oh my days thread 10!!!!

neddle · 05/10/2016 23:22

Guiness world records only £8-99 down from £20 and the Gamer's edition is half price at £5.
They always go down well in our house, particularly with my reluctant reader boys.

cookiefiend · 05/10/2016 23:23

Hi all, I have been following the threads from the start so thank you for all the bargains. I wonder if anyone could help me with this, there was a picture of a toy on the Argos website, I took a screen shot. I couldn't find it anywhere on the site. Does anyone recognise it? It's the puppy in the picture.
