See post two for links and codes and huge thanks to firefly girl for helping me update the list so hopefully all old codes have now been banished. I can't keep the list up to date without your help so please do let me know in bold so I can't miss it if anything doesn't work Thanks

panther what about lottie dolls or shopkins dolls?

pantherfootballforever · 10/10/2016 21:11

You see that is the kind of crap I wouldn't want my 6 year olds to receive!!!! I may possibly throw every bloody shopkin I find in the bin Blush
I have found a game called "Find It" on Amazon that looks good and isn't full of tiny pieces to get lost and then I think I'll go to Smiggle and get one of those wee gift sets they always have for a tenner. Big thank you to the person that suggested Smiggle!

For 13 year old - has anyone got the game Sussed? It looks like it could be an option if I went ahead and bough both nomination links.

pantherfootballforever · 10/10/2016 21:14

Actually, I've just gone and looked at those Lottie dolls and they are very cute! However, all the girls in our family (mine and these nieces I'm buying for) have 18" dolls which they love and have never really shown any interest in other dolls.

AbleSeamanTitty · 10/10/2016 21:19

Has anyone seen any deals on the new Simon Air?

ShoppingBasket · 10/10/2016 21:19

Has anyone found deals on Pokemon cards? Even better if they are the sets. Thanks :)

MooseyMoo · 10/10/2016 21:20

Just found some expensive dino pjs for DS and was just looking for stocking items and found these Cliposaurus Rex page markers £3 (could be used as a bookmark) and this Unicorn Liquid pencil case £5 and Unicorn tissues £1

The cheap pokemon cards are fake. The HP and attacks are all wrong and it would bug me

Sophia1984 · 10/10/2016 21:41

Thanks Horace - that ball looks fun- and Wait4nothing - finding a bargain jumperoo is the dream! I wouldn't be able to resist giving it to him before Christmas either!

Shine0n · 10/10/2016 21:42

snappydragon They are a good size for little hands, see the pic with a sharpie for scale. The instructions look pretty straight forward - hold the on/off button down for three seconds to power on and off, there's two triangle buttons for volume up and down, hold down the talk button to talk to the other walkie talkie. The only bad thing is they need 4 batteries each Hmm

Shine0n · 10/10/2016 21:44

The photo would be useful Grin

Remember the blenders from iwoot? Despite them saying that the order was cancelled, they took the funds from my account today. Just a bit of a heads up for any of you who made the purchase.

DillieDoily · 10/10/2016 21:55

Please tell me Costco hasn't stopped doing the giant rolls of double-sided wrapping paper! My local Costco didn't have any today, just 4 packs of normal sized rolls, and I couldn't find anyone to ask.

lozster · 10/10/2016 21:56

Just got the jojo toddler slipper socks. Bargain at £3 and free postage. Thanks for the link. Oh yeah AND a got a free box of Bear cereal. Wondered why the package was so big! Still some available 7-8 and 8-9. www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/rubber-sole-slipper-socks-b8802.html?gclid=CI7OlduN0c8CFWYo0wodgmoPdg

I'm another one who is unicorned out - they really are everywhere outside of this thread. It would be shorter to list where they are not. I prefer the bargains and/or the original gift ideas. Just sayin....

winewolfhowls · 10/10/2016 21:56

I am blown away by the wineapple

Mummyshortlegz · 10/10/2016 21:58

Dilly - MK Costco had them when I went in a few weeks ago.

confuugled1 · 10/10/2016 21:59

I'm obviously the odd one out when it comes to thI'wineapple - I just look ar it and think 'how do you pour it easily without crushing the chocolates' and 'who has bits of hessian lying around to do that' and 'the chocs are going to come off really messily' and 'you want people to see it which means that it eill look battered by the time you get it anywhete' and 'that explains who is still buying ferrero rocher chocolates' .

Must admit my heart would sink if I got that (I would obviously be very polite to thr gift giver and not let on but it would definitely be an 'amazing is not the word, words fail me' response that I'd. Be thinking on the inside.

(Excuse autocorrect horrors!)

BowiesBlueEye · 10/10/2016 22:04

Not sure how much of a bargain this is but it's a novel gift. LED glow writer board

jakesmommy · 10/10/2016 22:05

I have bought my son Pokémon cards from www.magicmadhouse.co.uk, they do the box sets and they are cheaper than amazon.

confuugled1 · 10/10/2016 22:06

Dillie they had double sided wrapping paper in my local costco last week- but it was sort of foiled on one side (their term, slightly dull metallics) which looked quite dull and made the paper look much cheaper and tackier than it usually does. Couldn't see anyone to ask when their 'proper' stuff would be in. Not so impressed by the patterns either. Usually there are several that I think so which one shall I get but this year wouldn't bother with any of them if that"s all they do.

confuugled1 · 10/10/2016 22:09

Mummyshortlegz waves - the ones I saw were in MK Costco too. Did you see any that were just the normal jolly paper designs or were they just the foiled ones?

Mummyshortlegz · 10/10/2016 22:14

I left it as I only saw the foil too, I didn't realise they usually did non foil. It was my first year looking.

I'm glad I'm not the only rider of concrete cows round here ;-)
