See post two for links and codes and huge thanks to firefly girl for helping me update the list so hopefully all old codes have now been banished. I can't keep the list up to date without your help so please do let me know in bold so I can't miss it if anything doesn't work Thanks

Lala DD has been playing labyrinth since before she was 5 but didn't really have the planning foresight the game is meant to have at that age. She did really like junior monopoly, various orchard games like tummy ache and shopping list. She likes hungry hippos and elefun but only gets them out once in a blue moon. She likes kerplunk and rumble in the jungle (although the latter is a pita to set up) and shh don't wake up dad is good and it's quite short too. Kids charades is good too and some of them have pictures on for those who can't yet read (I still laugh when DD was 4 and rolled herself in a ball with her finger pointing up coming out of the ball. We couldn't work out what she was and it turned out she was being an apple. How could we not get that?!).

I keep missing bargain! I think I used up all my bargain luck for the year by getting a a Sleepyhead Delux for 39 pounds from Amazon instead of 110 Grin

Vistaverde · 10/10/2016 18:54

In terms of family games my 5 year old loves UNO and The Game of Life.

DiscoMike · 10/10/2016 18:59

Grr I have paid full price for a Hype bag I had multiple windows open and there was a paypal delay and they must have efficiently merged my shopping bags when I wasn't looking Angry

Toffeelatteplease · 10/10/2016 19:03

Destination Animation is a really fantastic game especially for any pixar fan. The idea you win by making your own zoetrope is supremely cool

usernumber007 · 10/10/2016 19:05

I just tried to order a hype pencil case but the code no longer works. Ah well I have 2 bags on the way so can't really complain

pantherfootballforever · 10/10/2016 19:15

I need a couple of bargainous ideas - I'm totally at a loss!

13 year old girl - loves books, drama, music, not too worldly-wise so no make up or anything like that. Lives in the US so not bothered about British brands etc, and whatever I buy has to be posted so nothing too big or heavy. I already have a nomination charm for her bracelet and I could get another one of those too, but I want something else for her to open. Budget between £8-£23 depending on whether I buy one charm or two! Was thinking a game maybe but would have to be smallish to be posted.

Then a 6 year old girl - budget £20 - also in the US so things have to be posted. I have two 6 year old girls myself and all I can think of are the things I wouldn't want them to receive - like bloody craft sets or art books! I have already bought some early reader books because that was what she had asked for but I still have about half my budget to go and no ideas!

Darkswan · 10/10/2016 19:19

I managed to get a pencil case from hype last night but the bags i wanted were going in at full price. Today they are going in the basket at £10 but the code won't work Sad
Oh well, they accidentally put my pencil case order through twice, refunded one and told me to keep both so can't really complain Grin

MayorOfWhere · 10/10/2016 19:19

Saw this on hot uk deals earlier

m and s hand cream gift set

£15 down from £35

Snooky17 · 10/10/2016 19:25

Wine and chocolate ... the bargains have been great, pictures of unicorns in washing machines fab but news of a wineapple has just made my day hell no my year !

CarrotVan · 10/10/2016 19:41

panther can you order from a US site that does gift wrapping to make life easier in terms of postage/ customs?

Spottyladybird · 10/10/2016 19:41

panther for the 13 yo how about:
-A pencil case with pens and rubbers etc. Could try Smiggle as they are funky/cool and not in the Us.
-Gloves/socks from Accessorize
-If she likes books try the Literary Gift Co.

6 y o:
-A light weight game like uno or pass the pigs?
-Aqua beads- craft but not messy!

snappydragon1 · 10/10/2016 19:50

ShineOn thanks for the walkie talkie link. Santa buys my dc's 4 and 9 a joint pressie each year and I'm planning walkie talkies for this year. Would they be suitable for the 4yo to use?

pantherfootballforever · 10/10/2016 19:53

I'd forgotten about Smiggle! That would be a good call for 6 year old for sure! Thank you! I think Paperchase would be more 13year old's style but they have a v.similar store near them called paper source which is actually think is better!

Games for 6 year old are tricky as she is the youngest of 4 so they have most decent games already. I was wondering about Scattergories for 13year old (I bought a £5 copy last week) but not sure who she could play it with as she is the eldest. It's years since I've played it and thinking it might be too hard for the 11 year old sibling. (And I know def too hard for 7&6 year old!)

livinginhope87 · 10/10/2016 20:04

FBR815 gets you free delivery at baker Ross. Great if you only want a few bits.

MooseyMoo · 10/10/2016 20:05

panther There's a sticker subscription in US called Pipsticks. I get the kids club one and my kids LOVE it. Pipsticks are on FB and Instagram if you want to see previous packs.

pantherfootballforever · 10/10/2016 20:12

Ooh thanks Moosey - I'll go and have a look now!

Lurleene · 10/10/2016 20:29

Sorry if already posted. I just looked at my M&S account and one of my Sparks Card offers is £5 off full price nightwear. There are some cute Christmassy pyjama sets that come down to just £7.50 using this offer.

M&S Nightwear

Not all Sparks accounts have the same offers but it's worth a look.

yaffle · 10/10/2016 20:52

Playmobil summer fun jet plane is down to £14.53 from (apparently )£34.99 on Amazon , it's usually around the £20 mark as far as I can tell.
