Evening all!

Like last year, whilst Reastie takes a well deserved break, i am taking up the flag to start a new prequel thread.

Because again finishing the last one is depressing.

So....whose got any bargains?

Ooh! You started without me! 2 weeks ago! I feel very under-prepared now Wink

B&M have makeup organisers for £3.99 for older teen girls/female family members. Been mentioned on 'household crap brings you joy' thread.

My Sainburys Local (but not the main Sainsburys) had some amazing 80-90% off some of their stationery stuff.

I stocked up and got a set of most stuff for me and dh and the dc - spent about £20 instead of closer to £90. DC had their bits as a nice surprise on coming home from first day at school - so not only are they chuffed to bits but they shouldn't need to pinch borrow a pen from me for years Grin
Plus I also have a well stocked stationery cupboard (OK, shelf!) that makes me very Grin too!

I know it's not very exciting but last year I gave my dneice (then 11) a stationery present with loads of bits and pieces in that I bagged on a similar lucky trip to Sainsburys and she was thrilled - made an unexpectedly great present for a dc that's at that tricky age!

So jealous of all your bargains from Sainsbury's!! Abroad here so can't just wander in for a nosey :(

I have just decided against spending 76quid in the John Lewis sale section. Lots of lovely things but I just didn't feel convinced.......I have been a horror in the past at seeing the words 'sale' or 'bargain' and just going ahead and spending. The DCs are getting older now (4 and 6) so are more opinionated about what they want.

Anyway, glad to see this thread up and running! I always love having my Christmas present drawer filling up throughout the year so thanks in advance for links to bargains. Am also going to use Camel Camel much more this year - just started last Christmas and it is a great resource.

Can anyone remember the web address of the 70% off Shamballa
jewellery site from last year's bargain threads. I got so many lovely bits from there but can't seem to find it again and must have deleted my emails

FireflyGirl · 14/04/2016 20:11

Dogmatix was it shamballa style? The site says down for maintenance, but if I remember rightly the 70% off was a closing down sale so might not be available any more.

scandichick · 14/04/2016 20:37

Yes, it was a closing down sale, I remember it too.

woodwaj · 16/04/2016 06:51

Hello

I don't officially start my shopping until the end of this month although I may already have a couple of things but HUKD had a link to some cheap Christmas Yankee candle sets this morning, so thought I'd share.

Link to HUKD with details on how to get free delivery and an extra 10% off

Another set

Unfortunately camelcamelcamel is down this morning so can't check against Amazon price drops, but did notice that some of the Yankee advent calendars seem to be quite well priced on Amazon at the moment. This one is down to £13.33

Afreshstartplease · 16/04/2016 07:14

I don't normally join in til August but I am due DC4 in October so think I need an early start!

I have most the baby kit to fork out for as well as Christmas presents

By Christmas I'll be a mum of four! 🚼🎄

Amazon has a really good price on the Lego Minecraft crafting box. £35 ish rather than £50 ish. Just as ds has switched obsession to Lego city Sad

KacieB · 17/04/2016 18:05

Thanks so much for the new thread chips.

Saved and spent a fortune last year, but as the cost was spread over many months , it was much easier to budget hide from dh Wink
