Evening all!

Like last year, whilst Reastie takes a well deserved break, i am taking up the flag to start a new prequel thread.

Because again finishing the last one is depressing.

So....whose got any bargains?

I've got this page bookmarked it has all of Amazon's current best selling items listed. If something's cheap it normally shows up here Wink

I'm in! If anyone happens to see a Christmas jumper age 8-9 or 9-10 could you let me know? We are building a family stash but failed to get those sizes in the sales.

Heyheyheygoodbye · 03/04/2016 14:59

HI GUYS HI

I've already got a couple of things from the Worm That Turned sale tucked away. They're fab for garden-y gifts.

Traingirl · 03/04/2016 19:34

Hello. I'm a newbie Smile

I love Christmas as well.

I've already got a couple of faux fur scarves from new look - £29 reduced to £6. And a bobble hat and fingerless gloves reduced to £2.

Already tucked up neatly in my Christmas cupboard.

giraffesarefab · 03/04/2016 21:00

Hi everyone,
I have started already, (much to dh's disgust). Our local sainsburys has a reduced section in their clothing section and I spyed 2 sets of hats and gloves, really lovely sets, perfect for my step nieces, reduced from £10 each set to just £2.50 each so just add a chocolate santander and that's sorted!
Also I got a wooden jigsaw puzzle for my cousins daughter reduced to £1.99 from £5 and a set of 6 play doh tubs for £2 reduced from £7.99, so quite pleased!

candykane25 · 03/04/2016 21:21

cleanandclothes look on the John Lewis website. Type Christmas into the search field, they still have some kids Christmas jumpers.

candykane25 · 03/04/2016 21:34

Oh my. I am going to shamelessly place mark as I will be better this year. Plus DS1's birthday is the week before and I want to make sure everything is sorted well ahead.

If anyone knows any Lego Star Wars/Nexo Knights deals please please share :)

Mama1980 · 03/04/2016 22:10

I've also had some great bargains from Sainsburys this week:-

  • some child friendly alien design power banks for electrical devices for £6 (£14 on Amazon)
  • an 8MgB alien memory stick (well alien shaped rather than alien memory!) for £4 (£8 on Amazon)
  • some spindles of blank DVDs (£1.80 for 50) and CDs (£3.50 for 50) to use as back up memory or record things on (can't really go wrong at less than 4p or 8p a disc!)
  • A Sony cd/radio/cassette player for £45 instead of £55 (and it's quite basic but has lots of good reviews on Amazon, hoping it will be just right for ds2 (8) to have in his bedroom as he has started to like listening to music to go to sleep).

And as it's the double up points thing at the moment (until tuesday) it meant I got the cd player for just a fiver as I'd got plenty of points so was able to swap £20 of points to make £40 towards it.

If anyone has any nectar points, the sainsburys things is a faff to do as you have to go to the customer service desk to get a voucher before paying at a till - but it seems to be on Tu clothes, music and dvds, electricals, Sainsbury's finest nice booze, and toys so if you're getting those things anyway (and you're not in a rush!) it's an extra saving.

Oh and they had their easter eggs down to 30p from a pound...

cookiefiend · 03/04/2016 23:59

Saw on MSE- free Kung fu panda dvd at Sky store- no need to be a sky customer, though you do need to out in credit or debit card details you won't be charged.

Haven't seen any more bargains at the moment, but don't know if you are all signed up to free postcode lottery, it is completely free but you just need to check it daily (the clicks daily is how the site generates money to pay out). freepostcodelottery.com/?ref=462091

In the interest of disclosure , if you sign up I get a 4p referral bonus added to my bonus pot which I only ever get if my postcode come out.

Mama how is ds? I often think of you. :)

Right back to bargain hunting. :)
