Evening all!

Like last year, whilst Reastie takes a well deserved break, i am taking up the flag to start a new prequel thread.

Because again finishing the last one is depressing.

So....whose got any bargains?

It's Amazon prime deals day today - worth a look

d270r0 · 12/07/2016 08:00

Can't see much on Amazon prime day- but there is a gift card offer, buy a £30 gift card and get a £5 code free. Open to everyone who has prime. So thats worth doing if you're likely to spend the £30 on amazon yourself anyway.

SweetPeaPods · 12/07/2016 08:14

I'm not sure whether to order the kids tablet today or wait till Black Friday.

WhizzPopper · 12/07/2016 08:29

When people receive their blankets could you tell us the size/quality etc pretty please? Thinking they might be good for my 2 nearly teenage nieces and my 5 year old niece but unsure on sizes.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/07/2016 08:34

Kitty surprise is on offer on prime day and I don't have prime Confused

woodwaj · 12/07/2016 08:38

Have you used your trial Girl?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/07/2016 08:42

Yeah last Christmas. Can't face setting up another acc and all that faff, I'm off today but always on the move! Oh well, loads of time so I'll hopefully see it somewhere else. £20 is the price I'm aiming for as I want a dog and cat

Thank you to Chips for posting about the mermaid blankets,I only looked at the thread because it was in most active. I have a mermaid obsessed 23 year old and have had those blankets on my watch list for ages but thought it a bit frivolous for an adult. At that price though I'm happy to indulge her, wonder if I mange to hang onto it until Christmas though?

My things from TQ toys are amazing. I'm very pleased so thanks to the poster who mentioned them. I got a few different Melissa anDoug things that had damaged packaging but I can only see what's damaged on one pack.

WhizzPopper · 12/07/2016 12:13

Thanks Chips. If they're decent that's all 3 nieces down for Christmas.

SideOrderofChip · 12/07/2016 12:36

sitsonthefence

White company have a sale on, and I've been sent two codes for an extra ten percent off and free delivery if anyone wants them:
AM438
AM582

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/07/2016 13:42

If no one else would like the Disney codes I could make use of them?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/07/2016 17:31

£6 off a £20 spend at smyths toy superstore. Ends today.

Chocolateteabag · 12/07/2016 17:41

So my Emma Bridgewater referral reward is £15 off £75+ on full price items only. I have 3 codes but they have to go through my account. If anyone is looking at spending over £75 on full price EB stuff then send me a PM.
Sadly they don't stack (I have tried!) but at least 3 people have free spotty mugs because of me so I have a little virtuous glow Grin

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/07/2016 17:41

Ffs! Code is JUL6

SitsOnFence · 12/07/2016 20:30

I'll PM you the codes girl Smile

RJnomore1 · 12/07/2016 21:32

Oh I've just seen the mermaid tsils! My god daughter is so getting one this Christmas.

I've done ok on prime day, kindle fire and how I met your mother box set for dds birthday, for less than the usual price of the tablet alone; Bose sport earphones half price for dh Christmas; and the game of thrones books for meeeeee.

supermariossister · 13/07/2016 09:39

I've been sent an argos £10 off fifty spend on toys from the birthday club, I won't use it as have done ds birthday shopping. Think it's a one off code and online only if it would work for anyone else they are welcome to it.

DillieDoily · 13/07/2016 10:14

Nigella The Playmobil pirates chest look amazing for the money don't they? I've bought 3 so far but may order another as they were even cheaper yesterday (£12 something)
I think they would be fine for a 3 year old- they just come with lots of fiddly little bits but my DS has had Playmobil from age 3 and loves it.

SimplyNigella · 13/07/2016 14:00

Thanks Dillie, I will stick with the 3 year old, although I am tempted to order another one for me DS.
