Hi, I'm signing up! I'm pregnant and due October, so I'm determined to have Christmas shopping done and dusted by the end of August.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 05/05/2015 12:01

Already bought the angry birds playhouse and the playmobil playground as well as the things I posted.
Swore I was going to cut down this year but at this rate it's not going to happen!

Littlemousewithcloggson · 05/05/2015 12:03

And the book people have extended their May Day sale until tonight so I might have accidentally bought some stuff from there too!
Star Wars books £3
Rainbow fairies 20 books £10
Call the midwife HB £2.50
Katie fired 10 books £4

Lots of great offers there

Littlemousewithcloggson · 05/05/2015 12:04

Katie Fforde even, damn auto correct!

wigglesrock · 05/05/2015 12:15

MabliHeulwen - thanks for the Argos Playmobil tip - I got my youngest a smaller version of that last year thanks to these threads and she loves it. Picked up the Argos one yesterday Smile

Fluffycloudland - have also ordered the Boots set. I get hit with a lot of birthdays in the run up to Christmas. The top of my wardrobe is filling up nicely.

chanie44 · 05/05/2015 22:00

I ordered some wrist warmers from amazon for £2.50. They arrived today and I'm pleased with the quality - might order some for myself!!

gruffaloshmuffalo · 05/05/2015 22:19

I'm so happy I found this! Have added the atlas and the sticker book to my amazon wish list

whosthey · 06/05/2015 14:48

Would the argos craft kit be okay for a ten year old? I have reserved one for my dd who will be nearly four at christmas but her cousin usually likes the same things as her.

It sounds like a good kit, I will just get one for my dd. I am sure she will love it. My dh thinks I have lost it for buying Christmas stuff in May but I feel all organised and happy!

Boots are doing the Ciate Big Beauty Bus Gift Set reduced from £15 to £3.50. Got one for all the females in the family Xmas Grin

Theres an ap called zeek, plus website zeek.co.uk for buying and selling vouchers at less than face value. Its fairly new and so there are introductory offers around.

I have a referral code 20dzcu which gives you £10 credit if you're a new user (I'd get a bonus for each person that signs up too). You need to enter this code for your £10 before any others. You enter it via the drop down on the left hand side of the top bar under promo codes.

On groupon they have another offer which is buy £20 zeek credit for £7.50 or £40 credit for £19.

Last night I brought £71 TK Maxx vouchers for £25. Slight faff going via groupon etc but the vouchers are dated 2017 and will get used for birthdays and putting bits up for Christmas. They've also got boots and entertainer vouchers.

www.alexandalexa.com/sale/s/10?orderBy=Price

I love this site for really nice quality kids items, I search the sale in order of price. Thought I'd share :)

wigglesrock · 08/05/2015 10:08

I've just picked up the Crabtree & Evelyn box from Boots £50 down to £15. I wouldn't pay £50 for it, but it's very impressive for £15. Big fancy dan box - I'm easily pleased Smile

PlayingHouse · 08/05/2015 15:59

Can anyone recommend a karoke machine?

It's for my dds who will be 8 and 5 at Christmas.

Jenni2legs · 08/05/2015 20:26

www.zeek.me/promo/uk/?value=10&code=2c9zsr

This is a site that you can buy slightly discounted gift vouchers - I bought a £12 accesorize one (with my free tenner).

If you follow the link you and I get a tenner - then you will have your own referral code to pass on to your friends.

On your first purchase they do take £1 out of your bank to verify you.

Jenni2legs · 08/05/2015 20:33

arrgh, just seen the post above on exact same topic - oops

MisForMumNotMaid · 08/05/2015 20:48

If you do the zeek thing don't forget to buy extra credit at groupon (after you've downloaded the app and used either jenni or my 20DZCU code for £10 credit) £7.50 for £20 credit £19 for £40.

I've just got DH to do it on the referal code and so we've brought more TKMax and an accessorise voucher. We're at £150 long dated vouchers at places we'd buy anyway for £50.

Some of the vouchers they email you a code others come in post. Mi've had emails today to say they're in the post now. I'm Hoping to get the DC some nice summer clothes at TK Maxx with our vouchers.

smellylittleorange · 08/05/2015 21:11

seller:libertylondonwholesale

It's libertys eBay outlet, they've started to list stuff this month. It's priced to sell so you have to be quick.

NotSayingImBatman · 09/05/2015 13:35

Toys R Us have lots of wooden toys reduced. Just got DS1 a pintoy style pirate ship for £9.96 but they had toys kitchens, dolls houses and furniture, castles etc all with decent reductions.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 09/05/2015 14:30

Some sort congrats I am Sat feeding my 5mth old born in Nov and had all presents brought and wrapped before he arrived and dispatched in his first 2weeks with visiting relatives, the tags had mine, husband and ds1 name + baby as we hadn't chosen a name.

We hadn't wrapped each other presents or ds1+2 and would recommend having everything done and dusted before baby if you can.
