Has anyone noticed that amazon have changed it now that you have to spend over £20 to get free delivery? Confused

wume · 01/05/2015 12:49

Amazon will lose a lot of business now.

BeansInBoots · 01/05/2015 13:01

Over £20?! Didn't it used to be over £10? :/

Yes it used to be over £10 up until a few days ago. It will put me off shopping there to be honest. I think prime is too expensive at £79. Maybe would consider it if I was buying from amazon very very frequently but I just use it when i see a good offer.

Rugbylovingmum · 01/05/2015 16:45

Oh no, well that will stop me using Amazon for anything other than the odd large purchase. I order very regularly but always use the free delivery option. Without that I might as well their prices aren't anywhere near as competitive. I used to pay for prime when it was £48 ish but £79 is too expensive and it put me off.

lucysmam · 01/05/2015 17:47

Hello lovely bargain hunters Smile

I'm hoping someone could help me find an incredibly cheap handbag organiser on amazon - you know the things with loads of pockets in them?

My dad bought me a lovely bag last weekend...but it has no pockets for all my absolutely essential junk!Shock

I used prime when it was 40 but not 79 as I don't use it for streaming. If they give an option of delivery only for a lower price then I will use again.

MildDrPepperAddiction · 01/05/2015 22:46

Missed this! Looking forward to loads of bargains.

emmelinelucas · 02/05/2015 18:54

lucysmam - sorry, can't link but I bought mine from China - I think it was Hee Grand womens Handbag Organiser. Fab, cheap and free postage.

Reignbeau · 02/05/2015 19:09

Lalaloopsy tinies castle reduced to £5.99 @ Argos.

Barbeasty · 02/05/2015 19:17

Mountain Warehouse have a clearance page with some good bits and pieces. I've bought some snowman wind up torches and frog/ monkey keyring torches all reduced from £4.99 to £1.49.

MabliHeulwen · 03/05/2015 18:36

Found some good playmobil offers at Argos:

Have had this for DD for Christmas at half price and this to put away for her birthday (there's a pirate version of that too at the same price). Got them both for less than the cost of one at full price which suits me fine!

Joining in now as hope to start getting organised early this year, plus will have a new grand baby due end of the year not sure of actual date yet xx

Ratbagcatbag · 04/05/2015 07:58

Wooohoooo. Hello lovely lot.

I love this thread and as I've just booked Disneyland Paris for Xmas with us all arriving back on Xmas eve I need to be super organised this year.

I'm an amateur obviously but when I was in toysrus yesterday some of the play doh sets (ice cream factory and cookies making) the sets were half price.

Ratbagcatbag · 04/05/2015 07:58

Congratulations Tanya Flowers

Boots are doing a Crabtree and Evelyn la source gift set worth £50 for £15.

Don't forget quidco or topcashback

BeansInBoots · 05/05/2015 09:07

I have no idea what I'm looking for this year, dd will be very nearly 3 (the curse of an early jan birthday!) and ds will be 16months..

We are getting married mid November so really need to be prepared, but don't know what dds going to want, any ideas?!
