If anyone sees any sylvanian Families for a good price and a Jessie from Toy Story talking doll I would appreciate a heads up, they are so expensive! Flowers

Imperial · 10/05/2015 07:21

My friend Cayla on amazon for £35. DD got it for Christmas - it's not the greatest but I know it was top of a lot of little girls' wish lists last Christmas

Mipe · 10/05/2015 16:27

Playmobil princess advent calendar £6.96 on Amazon Prime! Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/05/2015 19:13

its worth keeping an eye on mysupermarket for malt whisky on offers, what's £25 now will be £35 near Christmas.

Mipe · 10/05/2015 20:03

Playmobil advent calendar has gone back up in price now Sad

AtAt · 10/05/2015 20:24

Re the £20 Amazon minimum spend for free delivery....
There was a post going round t'internet last week that I now can't find that said if you have something for less than £20, if you pre order an item that takes it over £20 (ie video game that is not out for a month or o) it will then give you free delivery. You can then cancel your preorder once your order has been completed, and the items you actually want have been sent. Not sure if this is true or not, but may be worth a look?

FireflyGirl · 12/05/2015 04:42

Toys R Us have Fisher Price stuff buy one get one half price on top of up to half price offers. I just bought this piano and this train for £35, RRP for both £75!!

Delivery is £4.95 but free click and collect.

Thanks for posting about the Playmobil offers at Argos, just picked up the princess birthday set. Not sure whether my daughter will be too young for it if I give it to her for her 4th birthday?

wigglesrock · 12/05/2015 12:59

Mytribeof3 - my dd is 4 and loves the smaller one I got her for Christmas (just before she was 4). I got her the same one you did to put away for this Christmas but she'd love it now.

ChangingTiming · 12/05/2015 13:16

Checking in to mark place, aiming to spread Christmas over the entire year!

MildDrPepperAddiction · 13/05/2015 10:27

When is the daily fail lego offer back? It's this month isn't it?

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/05/2015 10:35

Guylian choc fondue sets are £1.99 in Argos if you can find one in your area.

Mytribeof3 · 13/05/2015 12:58

Thanks wigglesrock I will give her it in Nov when it's her birthday. I have got them some other Playmobil sets to share for Christmas - The unicorn jewel castle & the swimming pool with whale fountain as they seem to have good reviews too.

Rugbylovingmum · 13/05/2015 13:12

I've managed to pick up a couple playmobil sets on amazon using camelcamelcamel to track the prices. The Preschool Children's Playground looks good and is hovering around £24-£25 which seems a good price. I also bought the horse show one when it was reduced last week but it shot up again before I could post it here.

For those of you with playmobil, do you leave it out all the time or pack it away? My DDs will be 3 and 6 at christmas and they love playing with little figures together - they make up some great stories. I'm sure they'll love the playmobil but DD2 is stil quite young to look after it properly. They have a small playroom so I could leave it all set out but I'm worried it will all get lost or broken. On the other hand there are so many bits and pieces it'll be a pain to clear up every time they use it. What do you do?

Rugbylovingmum - so far we have a few random figures and bits that are all stored away until they want to play, as well as the penguin pool set which I picked up just before last Christmas on offer. Our playroom is also quite small but over time I hope to arrange things so they can leave out their sets if they are playing with them everyday as seems a shame to pack away their little scenes! x

Rugbylovingmum · 13/05/2015 13:43

Thanks Mytribeof3, they have the playmobil campervan which we put away when they have finished but thats easy as everything just gets chucked into the van. Once they have more sets I can see them wanting to leave it out. The playroom should be big enough but yesterday they were playing with their marble run, my little ponies and pass the bomb game and I can't see any floor today! They should learn to clear up their mess but I work evenings and DH just shuts the door and pretends he doesn't see it .

snowmanshoes · 13/05/2015 13:44

speaking of playmobil the Princess advent calendar is back down to £6.96 on amazon (and yes I need to change my name!!)

Mytribeof3 · 13/05/2015 14:07

Snowmanshoes the playmobil princess calendar looks lovely - would you say that's a good price for it? Have you had one previously?

Rugbylovingmum · 13/05/2015 14:33

Thanks snowmanshoes- I've ordered one for DD1. DD2 has the unicorn land one so they'll go together. I love the Xmas themed one we've used for the last 2 years but DD1 is a really girly girl and asked for a princess one this year. They shared one calendar last year but the bits get played with so much I don't mind getting them one each this year (otherwise my lovely gentle 6 year old gets bullied into letting her equally lovely but very bossy little sister open all the doors).

Mytribeof3 · 13/05/2015 14:42

I've just ordered one too Rugbylovingmum although having read your post now I'm thinking perhaps I should have ordered 2 so they can have one each!

NotSayingImBatman · 13/05/2015 19:47

For those asking what to do with Playmobil, I have this for DS. We got it for half price last month and one drawer is for Playmobil and the other is for Lego. Seems to be keeping all the little pieces safe so far!

NotSayingImBatman · 13/05/2015 19:48

Should add, they also do a princess castle version, as well as the road map.

snowmanshoes · 13/05/2015 20:09

Hi
Yes we've had a Christmas themed one and thought it was worth it but paid much more. Youre always going to get days when the pieces aren't as good but anything under a tenner for a playmobil advent calendar is a bargain in my opinion.
