Since robotgate was beginning to fill up the third bargain thread I thought I'd start a dedicated thread here to save Reastie from having to write another mega op just a few days after the last one!

I haven't had my phone call yet and am actually excited for them to ring as I want to put my jargon into use (Is that weird??)

I have a dispatch date of 29th, really hoping that it shows up now.

Is anyone else worried about the reports of hope charging full price after delivery? I can barely afford £13 for the robot - definitely not £40!

I won't be doing anything about it until next week. They could easily send it out today but not bother to update the order status (communication doesn't appear to be their strong point, going by all the emails folk on here have sent that haven't been replied to!), so I think I'll wait to make sure it definitely doesn't arrive before I contact them.

No change to my account. Yesterday I pretended to buy a robot and it came up with 'not in stock'. Today, you can order a robot without this notice. So looks like it is back in stock...

I'd be interested to know if the order status was updated on the website for those who HAVE already received their robot!

No delivery here but no refund either - fingers crossed. I'm starting to feel like Christmas won't be complete unless there's a plastic robot at the table with us.

I seem to recall from the last thread that those who received their robots didn't get a dispatch email, so not particularly expecting one.

Would love to know if they come by Royal Mail or courier though, so I know what to watch out for .

I am pretty sure mine came via courier but cant remember which one and I didn't get a despatch email it just turned up last week.

I cant believe they are taking so long sorting and sending them out. I think if the outstanding ones haven't turned up today they need a ring to find out what's going on.

Morning All, just to say I emailed hope yesterday and apparently they are our of stock until 9th September....and the waiting goes on!

Did they know that you had ordered it at the £10.99 price or did you just phone up as a "new" customer who wanted to know if they had it in stock? I think if they knew that you had paid the reduced price and didn't argue the point, just told you the date I reckon we're onto a winner. I don't mind waiting, I just want my robot!

I told them my order number so I presume they checked that and saw I was a £10.99er!
