wildpoppy try the code on the home page for new customers, £15 off a £30 spend. Worked for me and got the childrens and teen converse (which goes up to an adult 7). That shoe is £45 rather than the adult price .

So that got them to come in at £30 with free delivery.

That's strange - I just used La Redoute code 0280 and everything in my shopping basket got discounted, including sales stuff... I bought a coat, which originally was £69, was on sale £41.40, plus I got another 40% off - I paid only £24.64 for it!
