Just ordered some Ruby Hammer make up for stocking fillers. Reduced on Debenhams. Don't forget free delivery code SHD1.

bleedingheart · 12/10/2012 13:53

Playmobil 123 is great for little ones. my DS (2.2) loves it and has played with it since around 12-18mths. It doesn't have the little bits and pieces that can get lost in mouths!

Playmobil 123

The Noah's Ark was his present from grandparents last Christmas and is still played with a lot now.

MegBusset · 12/10/2012 13:54

DS1 got the Playmobil recycling truck for his 3rd birthday and loved it. Agree other sets can be very fiddly.

Piemistress · 12/10/2012 13:54

Thank you! Will check your suggestions out!

iloveholidays · 12/10/2012 14:14

The Book People have lots of good offers on..

Just ordered Gino's Pasta book for £4.99 (£12.79 on Amazon and gets great reviews).

Also there is a Where's Wally collection (7 books + Bag) for £9.99 which I've been thinking about getting...

As mentioned xmas262 gives free delivery at the moment - not sure how long for.

MooseyMoo · 12/10/2012 14:18

boony thanks for GLTC code (INTHEKNOW - £10 off £30 spend). Bought my 2.5 dd this cake and cupcakes + stand. She's really into tea parties at mo

craftynclothy · 12/10/2012 14:22

MooseyMoo · 12/10/2012 14:22

ilove I got the winter wonderland collection. Going to enjoy reading these as soon as they arrive.

iloveholidays · 12/10/2012 14:30

Oooh MooseyMoo, they look fab... I'm spending far too much money on DDs!! :) I haven't got many christmasy books though...

ShoopShoop · 12/10/2012 15:00

Thanks so much for the GLTC code - just finished off DD's presents by getting her the cupcakes (thanks Moosey) and some play food.

Has anyone had the Squashblox from GLTC before? They look great for den building. I was thinking DNephew might like them?

Thanks
tattbag · 12/10/2012 15:15

do John Lewis do any discount codes? want to get DD a micro mini scooter for Christmas but would love to feel like i've got a bit of a bargain too!

oreocrumbs · 12/10/2012 15:21

Many thanks for the GLTC code! DD is getting a le Toy van dolls house for christmas, so I bought her the car and caravan to go with it, and a wooden doll family!

That's a double bargain as I had considered getting her the caravan before but it is over £40 and I decided it was too much. To get it half price and then the £10 off effectively giving me the dolls for free is great!

Now I really must stop spending money indescriminately, and sort out who I have bought what, and how much money I have left to spend Confused.

AllOverIt · 12/10/2012 15:46

Uniqlo have orla kierley scarves for under a tenner... Link is from a few days ago. On my stupid phone so can't link for you...

MooseyMoo · 12/10/2012 15:47

tattbag hmm, think the best bargain for mini micro scooters is from jojo maman bebe. Hold on, I'll have a quick look...

notso · 12/10/2012 16:00

tattbag you could find an offer elsewhere and see if John Lewis will price match. I found them brilliant last year.

My wardrobe smells lovely thanks to being full of bargainous Molton Brown.

Does anyone know how long joules delivery takes?

SayHelloToMyLittleFriend · 12/10/2012 16:05

I'm so tempted to order the car and caravan from GLTC too, my dd would love it. Just wondering, does anyone have the wooden doll house from asda? I'm thinking if I order that, the caravan and little furniture sets from GLTC will look nice with it. Just not sure if the doll house is any good?

MooseyMoo · 12/10/2012 16:11

tattbag Mini Micro Scooter - 15% off at jojo maman bebe using RTOT92

MadameCholetWasMyFavourite · 12/10/2012 16:12

I've just got a text from Argos to say that there are double vouchers at my local store this weekend (2 x £5 for £50 spend or 2 x £10 for £100 spend). Not sure if this is a marketing ploy for local store only (Launceston, Cornwall) as it has recently been refurbished.

beingginger · 12/10/2012 16:23

notso
i ordered DD a dress last friday from joules and it came today

notso · 12/10/2012 16:37

Thanks beingginger mine should be next week then.
Can anyone help with either Lego Lord of the rings Helms Deep, a Kindle fire and an Ipod touch? They are my big spend this year.

SamsGoldilocks · 12/10/2012 16:39

OFD30 for free delivery on micro scooters when you spend over £30 valid until 2nd Nov.

MooseyMoo · 12/10/2012 16:42

Is this the lego helm's deep you want?

If so, tesco have £10 off £75 spend with TD-MXTN. Would take price down to £69. Not sure if that's a bargain or not. DC aren't into Lego yet...

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 12/10/2012 16:56

Just got the new Michael Morpurgo book set for dd - 16 books for £16.99 and free delivery from The Book People.

hophophippidtyhop · 12/10/2012 17:01

I have heard from a sainsburys employee that there is a half term toy sale, but only selected toys, not the whole range

notso · 12/10/2012 17:03

Thats brilliant thanks MooseyMoo its £96.99 on Amazon at the moment, I missed it when it was £69.99 plus I'll get clubcard points Thanks
