I survived!

We did our food shop today (first to Lidl who had no festive food whatsoever) then to Sainsbury's. Blimey it was scary in there Utterly bonkers. Inevitably there was no sage and various shortages but I decided I didnt care, if they didnt have it we'd do with out - I'm not going back this side of Christmas.

Good job though that I had dh with me, my back was particularly bad and making me feel a bit odd so I couldnt actually get anywhere I needed to. I just wasnt fast enough. I ended up letting everyone past and smiling at them in a rather mad way while they thanked me for letting them through if it hadnt been for dh I would still be there stuck by the potatoes.

Anyone else feel like they deserve a 'well done' for surviving?

I'm going at 6pm "Patty", our store closes at 7pm.

I did pop in this morning and picked up 2 dressed Cromer cabs for £1.50 each!

I want to see how much they reduce the fresh fish down to to put in the freezer.

Can you freeze crab?

I went to M&S, Waitrose and Sainburys this afternoon. Not manic. Got a reduced Turkey (£18 instead of £45 in M&S), they were also reduced in Waitrose. Sainburys are not reducing until Boxing which seems really sill as the nice supermakrets have reduced all of theirs!

You can freeze fish and crab providing it hasn't been previously frozen.

Left DH at home and went to my parents. He's apparently still sick but is well enough to be playing Mario Kart

Dh went to town today (Woking) for my "surprises" and said it was close to dead.... he was there at about 3pm. I was in Sainsbury's at 11 yesterday and it was full but jolly (sort of!). I also don't want to go anywhere other than to the pub and for a stroll or two over the next few days, so hopefully my fridge is full enough.
