Cox and Cox are good.

I think Bambolina do a cardboard one,My dd has the ELC wooden one and it's been fab. She now plays with it with her Polly Pockets,Sylvanians,it's the right size and they both kind of look right in it. They do other nice stuff in the same range too-a stable, tree house????

TheHumancatapult · 02/12/2011 18:01

Mammanetta that dolls house is down to £50 and it's in stock.A real bargain. They even do a village cafe, flourist now.

MrsHeffley · 02/12/2011 18:18

Amazon, Next & John Lewis have always been good for me.

M&S aren't as quick as I'd like but send the right stuff.

Don't think I will be using amazon if they are going to continue using yodel. I ordered stuff on 22nd November and its been with yodel since the 24th.

When I tracked my parcel yesterday afternoon it was in transit but in the evening it was back at their warehouse and is still there today.

I only live about an hour from the depot - would have been quicker picking it up myself!

MudAndGlitter · 02/12/2011 18:47

I like the fact amazon deliveries mainly happen when DP is at work so I can hide my shipping addiction easily!

JarethTheGoblinKing · 02/12/2011 19:21

Schuh! Always good, and have a 365 day returns policy if you change your mind (and they stick to it too - the only time they queried it was whether I was mad returning a pair or Irregular Choice shoes Grin )

MudAndGlitter · 02/12/2011 19:26

Shopping addiction. Not shipping. I don't like boats that much!

DesertOrchid · 02/12/2011 19:48

www.theallinonecompany.co.uk/

Small company, fun product (great Xmas gift for a niece). Very quick email replies, very personal, speedy response and individually tailored design delivered within days.. Product seems good, although hasn't been wear-tested yet!

Amazon, Next, notonthehighstreet, startrite, www.artyfax.co.uk (I think, been a while).

Bucharest · 02/12/2011 20:01

Amazon, (apart from the snow last year, but their no quibble replacement resending etc isbrill)
M and S
J Lewis
Thorntons
L'occitane (stupendous packaging, free samples, free giftwrapbags, zillions of codes always available and you get an email within about an hour saying your stuff has been sent)
LizEarle
QVC
WHS
I have to say Debenhams hasn't failed me yet.
Argos -delivery times to the hour
Boden
Photobox
Sarah Raven
White Company
Cox and Cox (although all their stuff can be found cheaper elsewhere)
Paperchase.

No bad experiences really, although Vistaprint and Vertbaudet are a PITA with the constant hardsell afterwards.(and La Redoute stuff looks nice on the website but is cheap and nasty when it comes)

mammanetta · 02/12/2011 20:01

ooooh MrsH!!! Miss Marple you :) That is rather interesting and would explain a lot of fuckwittedness...
off to search for Dolls House - you've done it now...
Good couriers?
Not many...
Cyclesense were amazing - but I think they may only deliver er...bikes...
Good to hear about Schuh! Was just thinking I could do with a Christmas pressie for myself - a tradition - maybe some Uggs....

Bucharest · 02/12/2011 20:02

There's also a brilliant online cheese place like Neal's Yard Dairy but costs about a third as much. Will find linky.

TarquinGyrfalcon · 02/12/2011 20:05

I've had excellent service from GenieGadgets. Part of my order was incorrect - the wrong item in the correct packaging - it wasn't their fault as anyone packing it in the warehous would look at the (sealed) package and assume it was the correct product.
I emailed them, they replied immediately, phoned to apologise and then shipped out the correct item and a prepaid postage bag immediately.
The gentleman I spoke to was so helpful, apologetic and cheerful it was a pleasure to deal with them.

Debenhams have been great (although my order arrived on the same day in 6 different packages delivered by 3 couriers)

Javari were great

Beauty Expert were also fab

bahookie · 02/12/2011 20:09

before you go to all these online shops you can sign up for

www.easyfundraising.org.uk

find a cause to support, look for the retailer (most of those above are there) and click on the link from easyfundraising and as you shop you earn money for your charity/cause.

bahookie · 02/12/2011 20:13

black isle brewery - if you are buying for beer lovers! www.blackislebrewery.com/
www.traidcraftshop.co.uk

i've also bought this year from
qvc
amazon
book people
m&s

PrettyPirate · 02/12/2011 20:39

Hollyfoot - you might be lucky with Debenhams, you never know...

Not our household though. DH ordered pair of jeans, arrived more than week later with security tag still attached. He has to take them to shop now to get it removed.

I ordered about 8-9 items ten days ago, three parcels later I still haven't received all of them. Yodel courier seems to just leave parcels outside front door, one of the parcels wasn't sealed properly and was missing some things although written on dispatch note.

No Debenhams online anymore!

boogiewoogie · 02/12/2011 20:41

Mainly Amazon here and the odd item or two from Ebay.

Absolutely NOT DEBENHAMS! Nightmare experience but looks as if I've been fairly lucky in comparison.

mammanetta · 02/12/2011 20:51

Cheese? ONLINE?! OMG.
thank you for making my day!
PrettyP that sucks...
