7 month old ate pastry from pre packed sausage roll

Hi everyone my mum gave my baby a bit of pastry from an aldi party food sausage rolls. Will he be ok? Just worried of listeria. I feel terrible

Why would he not be ok?

For perspective my toddler ate mud from the back garden yesterday! All was well. He'll be ok.

Presuming they were cooked and stored properly, what's the worry? Pastry is just flour and fat.

I am fairly certain that your baby will be absolutely fine.

Both mine ate far worse when younger.

You are fighting a loosing battle when they are old enough to pick stuff up and put it in their mouth, they can be surprisingly fast and sneaky.
