IMHO some people have gone batty

Some of the mad ideas I have read on here in last couple of days

Bonkerz the lot of them

How they treat their nannies or au pairs

They work long hours for not much pay.

There are some very fair parents who are working hard AND treat their au pair with

RESPECT

KINDNESS

But others

who spend all their time finding something to moan about.........

Why can they not treat them the same way they would like their DD to be treated if she wanted to become an au pair?

Would they want their DD to work in same circumstances?

LOOKING AFTER CHILDREN IS THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB IN THE WORLD

THEY ARE OUR FUTURE

It is also the best job in the world and the most fun,

seeing their faces when they have completed a jigsaw puzzle

learnt how to build a tower with 3 bricks

Please remember to treat others as you would like to be treated

.......

You ladies have been busy today. LOL Started reading this thread then thought I had skipped into another by mistake, it came round again and then went totally off the wall again.

Don't understand the point of the majority of it.

Childminders, nanny's, aupairs, teachers - don't play the major role in how your child turns out - it is the parents and the morals, beliefs, nurturing that is instilled by the parents that is the most important. Yes they play a role but not the major one.

And we are entitled to a moan every now and then. Life would be dull if we were all perfect

RTKangaMummy · 21/04/2005 18:34

Parents are included in the list of influences on the children

This has been a DEFFO BRILL Thread and now I hope you are all high on

LEMON SQUASH

If not WHY NOT??????

IMHO it gives a deffo brill slant on life

GO ON TRY IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

skeptic, agree with you, especially "thinly veiled attack on one or two m'netters"...

Heathcliffscathy · 21/04/2005 21:55

errrr....whilst i have a distinct dislike for overuse of emoticons, i have to say that i think that nannies/childminders/aupairs and teachers play an crucial formative role in how a child develops...i think we live in a totally upsidedown and nonsensical world that values the ability to make money far more than the ability to help a young human being become and adult. and i believe strongly that until we change that and start to value those roles/jobs and the job of parenting in monetary terms our world will be as f*cked as it is.
