I know the first option is 5 then I'm almost certain I pressed 2 then 1.

Thank you

Mellieg11 · 26/02/2024 09:17

hi guys just an update, just called i cannot believe i got through in 3 minutes. still in a queue and waiting to be sent to a DM , he said it should be this week , once its with a DM it could take a further 2 weeks. He did ask if id like him to put a note on the system for the DM to text when a decision has been made. I thought that this was standard but apparently not.

scan date 3/11

hopefully not too long now

Katelouise05 · 26/02/2024 09:17

The hold music is dreadful 😂

Gracie1909 · 26/02/2024 09:18

@Mummybabies2 it's been nearly a month since I updated UC. No back pay yet, they are supposed to be ringing me before 6pm. Ridiculous isn't it x

Mines still with a DM atm, she said its noted to send me a text but they don't text with an outcome if you're successful or not...which I know is a massive lie😂 however she was lovely so hopefully this week I'll hear something 🤷🏼‍♀️

Dollysmum37 · 26/02/2024 09:29

Hi I updated UC on the 2nd of Feb, was verified on the 14th and confirmed also on the same date that they would backdate all to June 2023. Nothing more since then, been advised the same no timeframe and they are calculating back pay? they have to go back through each individual month to see what you have been paid and then update all of the individual monthly statements too x

Amyz123mummyto3 · 26/02/2024 09:34

@mummyof3girlsx @XxNatty1xX he's been awarded middle rate care on Friday thank god its over with and they paid back pay from 26th October so missed out on a month because forms were late but now all done yay hope u hear news soon too xx

Dollysmum37 · 26/02/2024 09:34

Also… do we just put on UC Change of circumstance that awarded dla and care for a child 35 hours a week or more?
do I need to do anything else? Bet I’m in for a long wait with them now the dla wait is finally over lol

Mummybabies2 · 26/02/2024 09:35

@Gracie1909 i have seen some people say it took 3 days for uc to verify and one week to get backdated payment.the system is ridiculous x

TheClassicCollection · 26/02/2024 09:35

Just been awarded! Actually was awarded on the 23rd Feb (no text from DM to let me know).

Scan date 30/10.

Good luck to all those waiting

Katelouise05 · 26/02/2024 09:37

Just spoke to someone. Scan date 01/11 it's with a decision maker and could take up to 10 working days for a decision

Thanks for the update, keeping everything crossed for you ❤️

I’ve just managed to get through.

My Child has been awarded high rate care, I can’t believe it. I really thought we would have a fight on our hands due to his age as he is only 2 and a half but non verbal and on the ASD pathway but no formal diagnosis yet.

For anybody concerned about not sending enough evidence.

The only evidence I sent was a supporting statement written by myself, the nursery Senco filled in the part about someone who knows your child and I had a report from an ASD specialist arranged for by the nursery.

Good luck to you all waiting for your decisions. Xx

Ree55 · 26/02/2024 09:49

sjm100 · 26/02/2024 09:54

06/11 - just rang, 40 minutes on hold but spoke to a lovely guy who said I'm currently in a holding pile and its taking roughly 16 weeks to get to a case manager so I should be going to a case manager this week sometime and then it depends on the case manager as to how long it will take to make a decision so I'm hoping no more than 2 more weeks.

CornishMama2 · 26/02/2024 10:01
