New thread as this 1 is nearing the end now

Thank you that’s helpful my daughter is 4 in June she still has her pushchair or reins if we go for a walk as she doesn’t see danger she’d run away and on to the road.

Probably another 2 months for us for a decision based on the date of claims they seem to be reviewing at the moment 🙏 hopefully the outcome is a reward… the thread seems quite positive xx

I’m 15 weeks this week I’ve had no text I may call to see if it’s with a cm

@Berosey54432 no problem. My daughter is the same, she will try run away into the roads or go up to strangers and even refuse to walk most of the time. I do believe she would be eligible for low rate mobility so hopefully when she turns 5 in June she will be able to have it. So far we've just got high rate care which I'm really happy with anyway

Thank you for this yes mine hugs strangers and doesn’t understand personal space. The paediatrician saw her hug the student who was in clinic whom she’d never met before.

@Marie156 glad u got hrc I did too for my daughter have u update uc? I was told on here u get an extra £400 and somethin a month for the child disability element just waitin to hear when back pay for that will be xx

Hey yes I've updated UC on Friday when I received the award letter. The carers element has been verified, request for backdate has been sent to dm. I have to wait for the disabled element to be verified now before that gets sent to dm for backdate. Good luck hopefully it gets done fast

@Marie156 back in January for my other daughter uc was all sorted and back payment all done within a week it was so fast! Mine was verified too waiting on back payment confirmation so hopefully this week for us 🤞🤞

I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and can't stand another 5 weeks of this! It's so stressful 😫

Yeah definitely. I'm thinking more start/mid May that would be roughly 20 weeks for us

Well I'm believing the really nice guy I spoke to on Friday and said I would hear by 5th March so that only gives this week doesn't it then we are at the 5th 😬

That's alright. I am from Croydon in London. I had 2 letters but no text. Just woke up and saw backpay last Wednesday. I called and asked the rate. The letter came on Saturday dated 16/02.

Saw the backpay on Wednesday. But got the letter yesterday that was dated 16/02.
