@jess12345678 As you are happy with the rates and have a copy of all the paperwork from the original form I wouldn’t do an MR. It will be much easier to print it off and send it when the renewal comes. Chances are you may have more evidence and get a longer award xx

Still waiting on a decision. With a DM since 25/01 - told last week I was 20 weeks this week. Told this morning I'm only 19 weeks? Never any continuity with the information they tell you...apparently I could be next or I could be in another 100 people's decision.🙄Hope nobody else is unlucky enough to speak to 'Lovely' Linda with her terrible customer service today

Well... after my rant here yesterday and getting really upset last night.... set my alarm to call this morning I've woken up to a backpayment from DWP!!!!!!!!! Scan date 29/09!!! Absolutely over the moon

I've just phoned up and been cut off 😩

Currently on hold 😩

So they've just called, asking why the forms were sent back late, even tho I sent them on time 🤦
She then said someone will look at it now and I'll hear within 2 weeks! Want this to hurry up now

Just got through as sent extra evidence and was received on the 23/01 signed for called the next day and the man said they had received but hasnt been scanned on yet. So called to cheak it had been scanned the lady was very rude saying it hadnt been scanned on yet as she doesnt know if they have received it as there is a back log of post 🙄 i told her what the man said she said well if we had received it it would have been scanned and to keep my receipt, and said she wouldn't give a update as its not been 20 weeks 🙈

I'm not having any luck today, been cut off twice now!

@2kidsmumm you are 20 calendar weeks since your scan date, but it counts as 19 weeks as DWP don’t work Christmas and New Year.

Same here my daughter passed out with an anxiety attack yesterday in the shop had they had to call an ambulance due to her low blood sugars due to her eating disorder its getting worse and all the wait times are awful im so stressed it really scared me I've been waiting for mental health help for 18 months I will be using the money if awarded for her to have private mental health treatment

@Jonesy0102 i will do i hate ringing they are so rude ive just let it play out tbh but ive sent evidence I need know if scanned onto system been on hold 20 minutes so far. X

@Sunflower1808 that's so frustrating. I'm in a similar boat. Trying to get get through to see if me extra information I sent on the 13/1 as been scanned on but I'm just getting cut off. I only sent mine to the free post address. It's so time consuming trying to get through

I agree with this. The renewal forms are about half the first claim forms and you could just resend all the info from the first form while still receiving the DLA payments that you will from now. Renewal forms are looked at within a few weeks of them being due so u can just sit back and wait on that. MR seems much more stressful that renewal.

@Lindsey89 i got through the lady was so rude , my extra evidence was received on the 23/01 signed for. The man the next day said it was ther but not on the system yet. @rjnicola it really is mine was received 2 weeks ago now 😳 i said ok ill call back she then abruptly said not untill at least next friday 🙈

@Sunflower1808 Surely they should. Understand the frustration we have waiting all this time as we understand their frustration having 1000s of calls a day don't take much to show a little. Respect does it im still on hold ill update once I'm through x

@Lindsey89 i even started with hello how are you today and just got how can i help 🙈 i no i have a wait still but i want to make sure its there as when i first sent my forms back they received them on the 10/11 i called in January as hadnt had a letter and it still hadnt been put on the system the lady then ,(who was lovely) said ill do them now and kept the scan date as the 10/11 as thats when they received them x

@Sunflower1808 the fella I spoke to to asking I had time to send extra evidence was a bit like that he couldn't wait get me off the phone certainly had a bad day he did but the lady I rang at beginning to see if forms had been received was lovely I bet they get fed up of hearing same stuff every few minutes but it's their job isnt it we are 13/10 so ideally I need that evidence to be scanned on asap nightmare this my cousin waited 7 weeks in total last year crazy how the times change so quickly

After updating with UC, how long was the wait for them acknowledging the message to the backdated disability premium being paid?

I'm on hold now to see if extra evidence I sent a few weeks ago has been scanned on. I really hope I don't get someone rude as I have bad anxiety with making phonecalls as it is.
