@Mothertothreeboys I’m November scan date 22nd only 2 letters to nothing else x

Are you hopefully Novembers soon the wait is so long isn’t it x

@Mothertothreeboys yes the wait is horrible I keep counting down the weeks 😂 im almost 11 weeks waiting so another 9 weeks to go ,, if I hear anything before hand will update as I no it’s a joke with timescales and people get awarded with later scan dates doesn’t seem to be in order I just feel like mines going to be a decline and going to have to do a MR as my little one is only 2 almost 3 xx

Does anyone no of dla will answer calls after 17:00 if your still waiting to be answered just with them closing at 5 I’m unsure weather I’d be wasting my time staying on phone waiting

@rosey1993 hi I haven’t personally recieved this call but have heard about decision makers ringing to either gather more information or sometimes they call to make sure bank details are still the same with it being so long since the claim was sent off so if they do owe you any money it goes into the right account xx

@rosey1993 also make sure your private calls are on incase they ring on a private number sometimes you won’t get notification of calls if private numbers are turned off x

Really worried as I haven't got much evidence daughter has bad hypermobility and docs are sure she has elhers danlos syndrome so I'm constantly worried it's gonna be a no 😭

Can someone help me what do I do on uc to update my daughters dla

@rosey1993 i was the same with my son I’m currently waiting for a renewal for him he was only 9 months when I applied had no diagnoses just constantly picking up viruses and catching pneumonia all the time he was in and out requiring oxygen struggling with his breathing all the time very wheezy I only had discharge reports and x ray reports and he has only just been referred to respiratory so not much information at all and he was started on 3 inhalers it was costing so much money in and out all the time taxis food excetra I couldn’t afford it while in their so I just applied and didn’t even get anyone fill out the someone who knows the child part so I thought I was going to get declined I only wanted something to help with the cost of things and i got awarded HRC for 12 months due to needing round the clock care and supervision as his breathing can and has deteriorates at any point he now has a potential diagnoses of severe asthma I am currently waiting on the renewal which is up in march still not heard anything so I’m so worried about that even tho their is so much more evidence this time round but I’m still stressing and I’ve applied for my almost 3 year old with possible ASD and severe developmental delays were awaiting to hear about that I wouldn’t worry too much as it’s about how much you explain their care needs n supervision excetra and how it’s different to a child of the same age I would definitely MR if they decline xx

@jess12345678 my daughter was awarded 1 year. Ends in July so il have to do it all over again 😭 got decision 2 weeks ago and 26 weeks backdated. Just need uc to hurry up their end!

Bloody hell do you need to reapply in July this year? Mines next year but I suppose he isn’t diagnosed yet so should be soon come next year hopefully x

It's such a stressful process isn't it,I found it really hard filling out the forms because I found most the questions didn't relate to joints so maybe it's a good thing someone is ringing so I can explain in more detail just makes me more nervous! Fingers crossed you get the results you deserve xx

@Amycroft I've just had a uc notification saying my circumstances been accepted so next payment will show that change. Nothing about payment x

@Jesslou37 this is all I've had I domt know what they mean by addition housing costs??
