DLA Wait Times - Part 28

Thread following on from part 27

I'm currently on hold waiting to get through to get an update. Last text received 22/01. Fingers crossed I don't get told off haha!

I'm wondering if the carers and dla element will go into our payment that's due so my uc payment date is 17th will it get added onto that this month then be told about backdated pay

Hi do they send decline text messages does anyone know?

We got awarded on Friday. Even though I rang on Friday and they said it's not been looked at!! I'm 5/10. Give them a ring! I hope you get awarded soon!

@ItsRalf glad you got your decision and I have they just keep saying decision not made as of yet hopefully I hear by Friday and thank you x

Scan date 19/10
Received 2 letters and 1 txt on 29/01
Ive just sent off some additional evidence by special delivery. Hoping it reaches them and is scanned on time 🤞

@Hayz0711 Hopefully we both get a decision soon. I think I will call on Thursday to confirm they have received the extra evidence, with a bit of luck they might have an update. It will be my first time calling

Called just, mines still waiting to be looked at apparently. End of Feb, March for a decision.

Scan date 17th October

just Got through after waiting on hold for 55min.
lovely lady answered the phone, changed my bank details for me.
I asked her for an update on my application for COC scan date 18/10 and she told me it was in a ‘holding cue’ waiting to go to a case manager

she also confirmed they received evidence I sent off last week

not going to call now until end of feb if I haven’t heard before, good luck all x

Scan date 14/09
So i called this morning to be told they wrote to me on the 22/01 to say hes not be awarded. They are resending the letter but now i need to appeal. Does anyone have any advice about appealing?

@Kkh1 well after an hour wait, apparently mine isn't even being looked at! I told him others are being awarded with scan dates after mine. He said he couldn't give an answer why as it shouldn't be processed like that and done in scan date order. He did say the wait is looking to be 17-20 weeks so I need to wait a few more weeks. Bit disheartening but trying to remain positive xx

If IT's declined it's worded differently I think.
If awarded it usually says awarded but not everyone gets texts some just received letters

Apparently a decline text is we have made a decision about your claim from what I've read on here

It is very frustrating! I’m currently in 32 mins on hold - rung just before this call but was cut off at 40mins . I received a text the same day as you, my scan date is between 10/10 -13/10 not sure which one so will let you know what they say to me x

@Kkh1 The wait times on the phone plus the amount of weeks we wait is really frustrating isn't it! I wouldn't have called today but seeing later dates prompted me to as I thought it might have been good news. I'm 16/10 so only a few days apart from you, so will good to know what they say thank you xx

On hold, had a diagnosis today, want to update info. Scan date 3/10
