Do they just tell you over the phone we’ve awarded you x

Mothertothreeboys · 05/02/2024 12:26

Hi when was your scan date of you don’t mind me asking x

saturnspinkhoop · 05/02/2024 12:26

I don’t understand why they don’t have a portal like Universal Credit. It would make everyone’s lives easier if we could fill in the forms online and upload them, upload all the evidence etc. We would know the forms had been received and would be able to easily add more information or check on progress.

Ok thanks how old is your child and what his conditions are to get the award he got x

TheClassicCollection · 05/02/2024 12:45

14 weeks today - scan date of 30/10.

Had to wait 17.5 weeks for my youngest child's claim. The waiting is just horrendous when you get to the last 4 weeks

Siobhangrace · 05/02/2024 12:47

@Amycroft have you heard anything the UC today?

eatdrinkandbemerry · 05/02/2024 12:48

Scan date 4/11 just received my first text to say they are still looking at it 😩
Didn't want to read it incase it was a declined.

Amycroft · 05/02/2024 12:48

@Siobhangrace still nothing on my journal I rang this morning she said it goes to a DM and thay decide whether you get backdated but you only did it on the 31 Jan so give it a few more days but then she said wait for a letter from the DM it's so confusing tbh

Sarahdestiny · 05/02/2024 12:49

4/10 still no decision feeling deflated alot of Dates weeks after me already been awarded guessing I'm in the slow dms pile hoping not to long still don't understand how some September dates are still waiting and beginning of October but dates at the end of October already have awards it's baffling God knows how they work there systems

Claudb98 · 05/02/2024 12:52

scan date (18/10 )

ringing up today for an update on my change of circumstances claim. Haven’t called before

if any COCS have been awarded recently please let me know how long yours took

good luck

Siobhangrace · 05/02/2024 12:53

@Amycroft i only put in for it Friday I’m going give it till Thursday maybe Friday and see what’s going on, it’s like waiting for DLA claim all over again fml🤦🏻‍♀️

Rubys111 · 05/02/2024 12:54

Mine is the 6th and still nothing, apparently its with a case manager. I feel exactly the same as you.

Livd99 · 05/02/2024 12:58

Have just rang uc my child’s disability element has been approved after 1 day just waiting for carers to be verified but I’m due to be paid 12th and they advised me my payment will show then which is really quick. In terms of backpay this gets sent to a case worker within 24 hours of adding to journal so we shouldn’t be waiting long at all hope this helps

Sarahdestiny · 05/02/2024 12:59

@Rubys111 they have said the same to me on Friday said with decision maker but today said case manager no decision as of yet so God knows all is confusing to me hopefully we have our decisions soon x

Amycroft · 05/02/2024 13:04

@Livd99 when did you add it to your uc account cause I've been waiting 5 days now and nothing they won't answer me on my journal and I rang and she said you have to just wait but other people seem to be getting told within 1 or 2 days

MamaG2817 · 05/02/2024 13:06

Scan date 25/10
Received my first text today

Had 2 previous letters November & December.
Seen a few awarded around the same date I’m in 2 minds to ring them or not 🤷🏼‍♀️

Rubys111 · 05/02/2024 13:07

@Sarahdestiny hopefully we hear something this week than, I'll let you know if I hear anything else
