Glad to hear most of you have been awarded late September. Going to have to call for the first time on Monday and hope they don't cut me off again.
Panicking they're going to decline. 😮‍💨

awarded today scan date 02/10

no text but money in my bank but I’m unsure what rates anyone know if it’s dla and motability back pay or just dla im unsure how it works and what to next in terms of carers and uc

@Mariehanna I've seen a few people get a decision and payment within a few days from uc. Another waiting game lol!! Have they backdated both disabled element and carers element?x

I have just gone onto my journal I made the changes from when I rang dla up the end of august for carers and disability payment not sure if I done this right or do I need to claim for carers another way

@Jesslou37 I can’t get the carers as I’m in receipt of disability unable to work myself lovely xx

@Livd99 claim it from the day u phoned for dla form they back pay to then lovely x

@Mariehanna thank you I think I’ve done it right then anyone know how long for it to be backdated x

@Livd99 I reported mine Wednesday and had note in journal today it’s going on Tuesday next week x just write a note in journal and ask if u have done it right xxx

I've had the text to say my son qualifies! Nothing in the bank yet.

You can add these amounts and multiply by the weeks you've been waiting either since scan date or the date you ordered forms + the £10 Christmas bonus to figure out rates.

So our scan date is 14/09 and still not heard about the decision yet. 20 weeka now. Had post a few weeks ago saying they are still looking at it... how much longer now 🤞

My award amount was 2452 spread over 23/24 weeks but I can’t seem to work this out as none of it adds up and I can’t ring till Monday as they are all closed but at least the wait is over thank god

My form date was 22/08 scan date 02/10

@Livd99 possibly high rate care 101.75 x24 = 2442 + £10 Xmas bonus is £2452 x

@Daniellemcm i was thinking that maybe he didn’t qualify for motability as he’s under 5 thank you x

@Mariehanna what did you write on your journal? I've heard nothing and put 3 messages on there!!

I rang for update yesterday my scan date is 23/9, was with DM but awaiting more information from school. Im even more anxious now because when I applied my son was in primary school now in secondary and they no nothing about all his past situations :(

Hi all, we were awarded yesterday
my Question is, myself and my partner both work and earn well (still the daily struggles of never having anything left at the end of the month) so this money will have a huge impact on my eldest’s needs..
what else should we be looking at claiming? I’ve looked at working tax credits but can’t figure out what the criteria is.. any help? Thanks all

Do a universal credit calculation, it will input your earnings and your rent etc and asks about any children you claim disability for and it will tell you if/what you would be entitled too

Hi, long term lurker. My scan date is 12/10. Fingers crossed we all get some answers soon. I've had 2 letters and 1 text.

I was awarded Wednesday no payment as of yet, does anyone no when it would be likely to arrive or anyone else been awarded Wednesday and know x
