My scan date is 8/1. Only been 2 weeks but the waiting is awful. I know I've probably got another 18-20 weeks to wait. How do you all do it? 😭

Gin helps

Shaf89 · 23/01/2024 16:49

18+1 I believe you are now… @GoldenTango

Shaf89 · 23/01/2024 16:52

I’ve been following since November and it felt like they were taking forever with August dates but since new year they seem to be whizzing through the September dates 🙏🏼
feels like October dates will soon be coming through… happy to see all the positive awards your babies are getting 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Keddie · 23/01/2024 16:56

I dont think they count Christmas week. I should be 7 weeks yesterday but they are saying i am only 6 for MR @GoldenTango xx

MummyMas82 · 23/01/2024 17:26

@FlutterByASD im very relaxed now lol. P wouldn’t get mobility till she is three, so if a decision is made just before then payments shouldn’t be delayed to start on her birthday 🤞🏼 or a month after 😊

126t · 23/01/2024 17:58

As anyone had coc award around September dates

Robyn81 · 23/01/2024 18:05

@126t I'm 20/9 for coc still waiting

Sunshinesun · 23/01/2024 18:08

Congratulations @Sunshinesun hopefully the money is in your bank in the next few days! Can I ask what you scan date was?

Claudb98 · 23/01/2024 18:19

@Hayz0711 both of my letters say 11 weeks x

Hayz0711 · 23/01/2024 18:28

@Claudb98 my first one said 11, second said up to 15 weeks. By the looks of it, it’s going to be a lot longer than that!🤦‍♀️ x

Siobhangrace · 23/01/2024 18:31

@mamaneedswine
hello love when did you sent extra evidence? My scan date is 27/9 I sent extra evidence two weeks ago and it’s not been scanned yet

Claudb98 · 23/01/2024 18:35

@Hayz0711 yes I’m starting to think March time now which feels like a lifetime away!

Mum2threeplus2bonuskids · 23/01/2024 18:57

Thankyou. I may try calling tomorrow 🤞.
im so pleased for you, I bet it’s a huge relief.

Geegee1506 · 23/01/2024 19:00

Anyone know how long roughly it's taking for a DM to make a decision on back pay for UC?

Sunshinesun · 23/01/2024 19:00

@FlutterByASD Thank you ☺️ 13/09 x

@siobhangrace I sent the extra evidence on Friday afternoon by special delivery. I was surprised that they had scanned it already.

GoldenTango · 23/01/2024 19:26

Hi does anyone know if the DM's always call? or is it random. Like has anybody been awarded with no phone call?

I didn’t have a call or text for either of my kids when they were awarded. Money just appeared in my bank.

FlutterByASD · 23/01/2024 19:40

@Sunshinesun Oh you're slightly behind everyone else. Glad you finally have your award 🥳

I have weirdly had a decision maker accept the late reporting for the carer’s element but no decision yet on the disabled child element? I reported Thursday, they came back to me same day asking the reason it was late and the decision maker sent a letter late Friday afternoon saying ok you can have your carers backdated. I messaged to ask last night (Monday) when it would be backdated and paid and the guy said he’s waiting for a decision on the disabled child element?! Why they didn’t make the decision at the same time I really don’t know 🙄
