@EEFO1234
Its awful isnt it we waite sooo long and the declines so draining without having to go through the fight and waite again.
I sent in a letter of diagnosis we have so far
Statement from the child minder ( on how shes limited daily ect)
Diary off how often pain meds are given how long flare ups last and happen
All upcoming appointments/referals

The claim was for my 3 year old daughter with hypermobility serve in knees ankles and wrists so walks very little , reactive arthritis and sleeps very little
And currently awaiting a sleep study for pauses in her sleep
And awaiting referals for asd

Twinnies010920 · 30/01/2024 17:42

Hi I'm sure it's just the carers part that cancels the other out so you can claim dla aswel as the child disibility element on uc and you can claim carers element on uc but if you claim carers allowence they deduct it from your uc hope this makes sense

GoldenTango · 31/01/2024 12:39

@EEFO1234 Thanks for clarifying!! x

pessaryforthepressurey · 31/01/2024 18:44

As far as I am aware you get uc disability premium and carers element, it is the carers allowance (separate claim) that gets deducted from uc

jess12345678 · 04/02/2024 17:01

Bsmumummaj · 04/02/2024 17:14
