@FlutterByASD no, was on hold for 1hr 20 and it cut me off at 5.30. I’ll have to call tomorrow morning x

This morning I was told with a do scan date 28/9 I am praying won’t be too long anyone know how long it can take please? Good luck to everyone and congratulations to all awards so pleased for u all and your little ones 😊😊😊😊

I have the same scan date. It can take up to 2 weeks with a DM but they usually make a decision within the week unless they need to contact schools/doctors. Fingers crossed you get a decision soon.

I rang last Wednesday and they said it would be with a DM soon and to ring back on the 7th of Feb if I haven't had a text or letter. I've had some new reports and referrals come through in the past few days so I'm gonna ring tomorrow and see if it's worth sending them. Hopefully we all get some good news soon and we can stop feeling so anxious. Let me know how you get on x

Do you know if its with a dm yet I'm 19/09 and still waiting they seem to of moved on to later dates

@FlutterByASD of course I will, good luck for tmoz if I don’t hear anything by Friday il ring them before the weekend 🤞 I got another claim for my youngest with epilepsy and suspected adhd/asd/ add
but hers is 4 weeks later my 14 year old girl has asperges I’m worried she will be declined like she was when she was 8 but I’m ready to do an mr if need be this time xx

When was the last time you rang them? A lot of people with the same scan date were awarded on Friday 26th. I was and only found out by phoning them today. Best of luck x

Hey my scan date was 12th October I actually feel sick as a dog waiting now
my son is 15 and has been diagnosed adhd ans celiac Disease he has lots of sensory issues and poor mental health which is worse in the evenings I have a horrible feeling hel be declined because of his age but we have fought for years to get him diagnosed

I’m the 12th ish I think of oct the wait is just painful isn’t it

I phoned this morning they said still with a cm I seem to be one of the few left don't know if that's good or bad everyone getting awarded seems to have been done feels like they ain't done mine yet because its a decline and they can't be bothered to write the letter of reasoning or that's what my anxiety is saying 😂

Anyone on here know how long the back pay for disability and carers element from UC takes?
I've had a letter on my journal from DM.. doesn't give any info about the back pay? Hard work trying to get in touch with anyone through your journal...

first claim
my son has been diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. Just want to know if he’s entitled to Dla if anyone knows he’s 13 years old as this is our first application.

Been told today early November scan dates like mine the 14th November we are looking at the end of April shocked is an under statement that's around 22/24 weeks my daughter turns 16 on the 16th February I don't no to wait or put a claim in for pip

I asked a few threads back but I sent my child’s off in December and still haven’t received confirmation they have even received the claim form. I try ringing but get cut off or end up waiting over an hour and I don’t have time to constantly call. Anyone in the same boat? I know it’s a long wait for the decision but it would really put my mind at rest knowing they even have the form. Keep thinking someone random has got it. Thank you!

If you can try calling at 9am on the dot. The wait times are much shorter or you might get straight through x

Yes it takes a good few weeks to get the letter, I think about 6 to 7 weeks
