DLA Wait Times - Part 27

New thread following on from part 26

My scan date is 23/9 rang last week and was with DM, making me anxious now

@Mumzieof1 my dates are similar to yours, my MR was scanned in 11th December. Up until last week I hadn't had even an acknowledgement so rang, the guy said they don't normally get in contact for an MR like they do for a claim. He told me it's around 7 weeks for an MR too. It had actually been put through as a new claim again so he changed it but I'm hoping that doesn't add on too much more time as it will be 7 weeks tomorrow. I sent off more evidence so I'm really hoping this overturns the decision. I had Citizens Advice help me fill in the form, I'm keeping everything positive. From the reasons for the decline it did make me think have they even read what I wrote!

No worries at all! I was so worried I felt confident when I sent forms then reading on Facebook I was sure it was going to be declined the only thing I sent was a form that said my son was diagnosed with Autism ( not even the full statement as I didn’t have this at that time was just a bit of paper they signed at the time ) I will be calling tomorrow to see rates will keep posted x

Ah I see, hopefully the school get her on the SEND register this week so I can get that in. They say don't need diagnosis but then I got told no because no diagnosis for adhd it's mind boggling! Hope you hear soon.

Scan date 26/09 not heard a thing, I’m tempted to ring tomorrow but riddled with anxiety over it especially seeing October dates. If it’s with a DM at around 18 weeks do they then get 2 weeks to gather any extra info from schools/gp then make a Decision? The thought of another 2 week wait is making me feel sick. Anyone else from around my date still waiting?

I'm still waiting from 19/09 and call handler said before it can take up to 4 weeks with dm mines been with one since last Monday going to phone tomorrow

@jess12345678 my friend got awarded for her little boy MRC & LRM and she sent no evidence at all just the form she filled in and that was it so don’t worry too much about what you sent because people that send zero evidence still get awarded x

Morning everyone. Scan date 25/09. Week 18 crew here reporting for duty. 🙋🏼‍♀️ I'm going to hold off ringing until next week...

Week 18 here too, 19 on Thursday. Scan date 21/9 with the CM that's all I know so far :) best of luck x

22/9 still nothing going to ring today can’t take it nomore just want to know if a decline or with a dm good luck all

4/10 17 weeks on Wednesday hoping its ner to the end 🙏

Just checked my bank and I’ve received a payment from DWP on Friday, no text or letter detailing what yet but scan date September so around 18 weeks.

Great timing as I’d contacted somewhere last week about play therapy £££

My little boy had play therapy after the death of his sister. It was excellent.

18 weeks today, scan date 25/9. Keeping my fingers crossed for an answer this week, one way or the other. Good luck everyone !
